JENNIE'S POV

Lisa went early, like she had done the previous days, and we rarely saw each other in the mornings, and when she returned home at night, I was sound asleep. Now I'm on my way to the wedding venue with Seulgi and Irene because I want to see it; they're also planning their wedding, but they've decided to accompany me first because they want to see the venue as well.

"What can you say, Ms. Kim?" Kyla, our wedding planner, asked. I took a few steps back and nodded slowly.

"It's lovely, and the surroundings are cozy; this is exactly the kind of place I'd like for my wedding," I replied, smiling. I'm sure Lisa will like it as well if she sees it.

"I'm very excited for your wedding, Jen," Irene exclaimed as she looked around; it appeared that she enjoyed this area as well.

"Where is Lisa, and why aren't you with her?" Seulgi inquired.

"Because she works so much in the studio, she said I'll just take a photo of this venue," I said, taking a photo to show Lisa later.

Seulgi nodded and then was silent.

"Ms. Kim, the owner of this place is on his way; you can speak with him later," Kyla remarked before leaving us at the venue.

"Doesn't Lisa plan to assist you with wedding planning?" Irene raised an eyebrow, and I noticed Seulgi gently elbowed her. "What? It's true that she's always busy," Irene said angrily.

"Let's just understand Lisa, she's just getting started with her studio, so she's surely taking care of a lot," Seulgi said softly, and I agreed.

"Seulgi is right, we all know it's been Lisa's dream for a long time," Irene sighed in response to my words.

"She should take the time for this, you can't be the only one who decides; this is your wedding, so you two should help each other." Irene explained, and she had a point. I also want to be with Lisa here, but I don't want to interrupt her job, so I'll wait until she has some free time.

I didn't say anything until Kyla returned a few moments later to inform me that the owner had arrived.

"Ms. Kim, this is Mr. Jong-in," Kyla said, and my eyes widened as she introduced who owned this place.

"My god, Jen! I didn't expect you here!" Kai said, smiling as he shook hands with me.

"Is this your place?" I inquired, startled, and he laughed.

"No, it's my grandma's." He answered, and invited us into the office. Did you like it?" He asked me as he sat down.

"This place is beautiful," I said, nodding. "It's obvious that it's been well taken care of."

"Actually, this is a private place and it's not for rent," Kai stated, "but when my grandmother learned that the wedding would be held here, she consented."

"So, how about we talk about payment?" I remarked, but he shook his head.

"Since you're the one getting married, I'll give it away for free." He said and smiled.

"You don't have to do that, Kai," I said as I shook my head.

"No Jen, this is my gift to you and Lisa," When he said that, I no longer refused.

"Thank you so much, Kai,"

We went for a walk after talking to explore the whole place, and I discovered that Kai's grandparents had also married here, which may explain why they agreed to make it the venue for my wedding.

"Jen, our wedding planner texted, so we need to leave, will you stay here first?" Irene stated.

"I'm coming with you; I have nothing to do here," I replied as I bid goodbye to Kai. "Thank you so much again, Kai," I expressed my gratitude.
