CHAPTER 24 (365 DAYS)

JENNIE'S POV

I was surprised to find Lucas resting on Lisa's chest when I arrived at Unnie's house.

"Maybe they’re tired of playing" Chaeyoung said as she put Lucas toys away.

I was just watching Lucas and Lisa sleep. They are so adorable and I'm sure if our child were here Lisa and him would be best friends because she adores children and looks like one.

"Have you eaten yet, Jendeukie?" Jisoo unnie, who's from the kitchen, approached me and asked.

I shook. "Not yet, cause I'm from the company and then I go straight here"

"Let's eat, let the two rest first, they've been playing for quite some time" Chaeyoung said. I leave my stuff on the couch and proceed to the dining room. Chaeyoung sat down next to Unnie after setting the meal on the table.

"Have you had a chance to talk?" As I was putting food on my plate, Unnie inquired.

"When we last talked she didn't want to come back" I tried to smile. Unnie and Chaeyoung's eyes widened because of my answer.

"Are you bringing her back? Jen, she's getting married" Chaeyoung said. I told them about the conversation of Suzy and I had, as well as what Bambam had said to me, their faces were shocked by what they found out.

"Do you think the reason why did she come back here is to give you a chance?" Unnie asked.

I just shrugged. "I don't know but I will do everything I can". I answered her and continued eating. A few more minutes passed and Lisa woke up, she slowly laid Lucas on the couch and was very careful not to wake him up. I just silently watched her. When she laid Lucas down she walked over to us.

"I need to go home" She said goodbye to us.

"Eat first, Lis" Chaeyoung told her.

"No thanks, I'll just eat at home" She picked up her coat that was lying on the couch and put it on.

"Jendeukie, accompany her outside" Unnie pushed me out the door.

"Bye, Unnie and Chaeyoung. Thanks for the cookies, till next time" Lisa remarked this as she walked out the door.

As we walked to her car I stopped. "Lisa" She also stopped walking and turned to me. "365 days, give me a year to make up for you" She was just looking at me. "After a year and nothing has changed, I will let you go" I want to make up for the year I lied to her and I think this is the right way.

"Let me think about it, Jen" She answered and walked to her car.

"Be careful, I love you" She didn't respond, instead wave her hand and getting into her car. I waited for her to leave before re-entering the house.

SEULGI'S POV

Dad told me about Lisa's wedding. Honestly, I wasn't surprised when I heard that, as if I was expecting it to happen because I was paying attention to Lisa's actions. I remember last time, she really couldn’t bear not to go to Jennie at the bar, I knew she wasn’t used to see Jennie, drinking.

"Are they come back to each other?" Irene asked, we were now in the living room and watching a movie.

I shrugged. "Didn't you talk to Jen?" She shook her head.

"You don't seem to know that person. It's just that she lived in the office"

"Let's just wait for them to tell us" I replied, she never spoke again because she was so focused on the movie she was watching. "Baby". I call her.

"Hmm"? She's not looking at me.

"Let's get married" She looked at me in shock because of what I said.

"Are you serious? I thought—"

"I want to have a family" I know she is surprised now by what I am saying because when we talk about marriage I always tell her that I will wait for Lisa to get married, but I thought I had no one else I wanted to be with in the future but Irene. We have also been together for a long time and I don’t want her to think that I have no intention of marrying her.

"Is that how you propose Seulgi? You didn't even make it romantic" I laughed at what she said.

"Is it still necessary? Isn't it romantic that I love you every day?" I took the red box out of my pocket. "Marry me, Irene" That's not a question, I'm ordering her to marry me.

She gave a slow nod. "I will. I'll marry you, Baby" I wore the ring on her finger as tears streamed down her cheek.

"I love you, Baby" I kissed her on the forehead, then looked at her lips. I slowly brought my face closer until our lips met. I kissed her passionately, our kiss deepened and I didn’t realize we were already lying on the couch. I slowly unbuttoning her blouse while we were still kissing, then my phone suddenly rang I ignored it and continued what I was doing but my phone kept ringing.

Answer that it might be important. Irene told me as we let go of the kiss. I angrily picked up my phone that was on the table and immediately answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello"

Seoul, are you busy? Let's drink. I heard Lisa's voice on the other line.

"You know, you're always wrong timing" I told her angrily and I heard her laughing.

"You can continue that later, it's too early for that" She said jokingly. I looked at Irene, she knew I had something to say so she just nodded in response.

"Pick me up, I don't want to drive"

"Yeah, I'm on my way" She replied.

I no longer answered and hung up the call. Irene was looking at me while laughing she's now fixing her blouse.

"You really can’t say no to Lisa" She said while laughing.

"I just feel sorry for her because she doesn't have a girlfriend" I answered jokingly. I kissed Irene again. "Let's continue it later" I whispered to her before getting up and go to the bedroom to change.
