CHAPTER 25 (SOMI)

THIRD PERSON POV

"Lisa seems to trust you too much". The woman said while smiling after hearing her friend's story.

"She hadn’t changed and she was still willing to sacrifice everything for Jennie".

The woman burst out laughing. "Love really does do something different".

"How long will you last here?" Her interlocutor asked.

"Until we succeed in our plans" The woman replied.

The desire to take revenge and take back the things that should have been for her was obvious in her eyes.

"They can't be happy, if we could destroy them before, we can certainly do it again now"

"Lisa no longer trusted her, Jennie would definitely have a hard time taking her heart"

"Let’s reverse the situation, you already know what you’re going to do next" The woman stood up and said goodbye to her interlocutor.

"I want good news again next time. The woman said before finally closing the curtain in her room"

KAI'S POV

"Why do you love that woman so much?!" She slaps my arm several times.

"Krystal, stop! We might get into accident"

"Kai, I'm pregnant. We're having a baby, I need you! Why would you marry her?!" She pulls my hand away, slaps my face and I try to ward it off.

"We're done, Krystal. How many months did you not show up to me, and now you're going to say that child is mine?! Are you crazy?!" I shouted at her.

"She's trying to snatch the steering wheel from me which caused our car to turn into different side of the road" I was also driving too fast and I didn’t notice the woman crossing. We were both shocked to see the woman lying in the middle of the road.

"J-Jennie?" My eyes widened.

JENNIE !! I woke up because of that bad dream. I looked at the picture of Jennie and Lucas on the side table. "I'm sorry, Jen"

LISA'S POV

"What's your plan, are you going back to her?" Seulgi asked me.

"Is it worth it?" I also asked.

"You never know if you won’t try" She leaned back in her chair. "I can't understand why you're having a hard time in letting Jennie back, obviously you still love her. What really happened to the two of you?"

"Let’s just say we both made mistakes with each other" I answered.

It was obvious on her face that she was not convinced by my answer. "I feel there is a deeper reason, but whatever it is I know you have a good reason why you did it". She tapped my shoulder. "But don't be too slow Manoban, many people likes Jennie especially Kai, you might not realize that others already got the diamond you were keeping" Every word of Seulgi has a deeper meaning.

"I already let go of that diamond you're talking about Seul" I heard her laugh because of my answer.

"I don't believe it, Manoban. You may not able to hold it, but it's still there" She pointed to my chest where the heart was.

I didn't say anything. Maybe I agree with what she said, but I can't admit it in front of other people.

"There's nothing wrong with telling me that you still love Jennie the three years you've been together aren't a joke" I heard Seulgi say something, but I wasn't paying attention because I saw a familiar woman being abused by two men. Seulgi turned around when she discovered I was looking at the others.

"Do you know her?" She inquired.

I nodded slowly. "I think she's my secretary" When I saw two men dragging her away, I stood up.

"I said, let me go!" She shouted at the two.

The two laughed. "She's fighting, bro" A man was about to touch her again but I spoke up.

"Touch her again and I will kick you" They immediately looked at me.

"Ms. Manoban" Somi approached me and held my shirt tightly, I also noticed that she was trembling with fear.

"What is this, a night shining armor?" The man said while laughing. "If you want, come along with us. We will take you to heaven" He smiled like a demon.

I was so annoyed with his face that I kicked him. A man with him immediately acted and punched me in the face.

"Manoban!" I heard Seulgi shout and she also approached us. There was a commotion inside the bar, we exchanged blows with the man and I immediately avoided his attacks, I saw a bottle of beer and when he got close to me I hit him with it. He lay down on the floor due to excessive dizziness, I also saw that Seulgi's male opponent was already lying down.

"Fuck you, Manoban! You didn't tell me that boxing was where we were going" I laughed at what she said, I noticed that she also had a small wound on her left cheek and right arm.

My eyes searched for Somi and I immediately saw her in a corner, terrified, I approached her. "Somi" When I called her name she suddenly hugged me and I stroked her back to calm her down.

"Ouch! Just slow down baby, it hurts" Seulgi complains to Irene while her wound is being treated.

"Next time, I won't let you drink with Lisa" Irene said.

"It was just a coincidence Irene, we didn't go there to fight" I said to Irene while treating my own wound.

"Manoban saw that the two men were abusing her secretary, so she approached them. I was also surprised because she suddenly kicked the man" Seulgi explained.

"If your secretary was the one you saw there, would you do what Lisa did?" Irene asked Seulgi seriously. I was just listening to them.

"Of cour—" Seulgi was suddenly stunned when Irene looked at her badly. "I-I mean ..." Seulgi couldn't finish what she was going to say when Irene suddenly stood up.

"Treat your wound alone" Irene left the alcohol and cotton and walked into the bedroom. Our gaze followed her until she could get inside.

"It's your fault Manoban"

"Why me?" I pointed to myself.

"Go home, I don't want you to see how Irene kicks me out" She pushed me outside.

"Wait, I haven't finished treating my wound"

"You can treat it at your home, go ahead" We heard something loud inside.

"Shit" Seulgi whispered. "Go home, Manoban. Go, go go!" She immediately closed the door.

I was just shaken and scratched my head. When I got home I didn't bother to change my clothes, I went to bed and immediately fell asleep because I was tired.

I woke up to the dazzling rays of the sun. Who opened the curtain? I immediately got up and went to the comfort room to wash my face and brush my teeth, when I finished I felt hungry so I left the room and went to the kitchen to cook food, but when I entered the kitchen I did not expect who was I will see.

Good morning! She showed me her beautiful gummy smile.
