CHAPTER 51 (MOMMY PRINCESS)

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

Lisa called me earlier and said if I could pick up Luan from school because she does a lot in the studio so she can't pick up Luan, since I have nothing else to do, I agreed. Exactly 3:00 p.m I arrived at Luan's school, when I saw him walking out of the gate I waved at him and he ran towards me.

"Mama Chaeng!" He shouted as he ran. When he got close to me he immediately hugged me.

"How's school, Luan?" I asked him.

"Our Teacher gave me a star" He happily showed me the star stamped on the back of his palm.

"Wow, very good! Because of that we're going to eat ice cream!" He smiled broadly when he heard the word 'ice cream'.

He turned around as if he's looking for someone, "Where's Dada?" He asked.

I knelt down in front of him so that we could be equal, "She can't pick you up now, because she's busy with work" I explained and he nodded. "So, is it okay with you if we just eat ice cream together?" I asked him, he smiled and nodded as if he was saying he understood the situation.

We got in the car, I adjusted his seat belt before finally leaving and going to the nearest ice cream parlor.

"Mama Chaeng, can I ask you something?" I looked at him for a moment as he spoke.

"What is it?"

I feel like he's looking at me as I drive, "Isn't Mommy Princess coming back?" I was surprised by his question and I didn't know what to answer, now I know how Lisa feels every time Luan asks her about Jennie.

I swallowed first and was about to answer when he spoke again, "I always see Dada crying at night while writing" The traffic lights turned red so I stopped the car and looked at him. "One night she accidentally left the letter and I read it, even though I didn't quite understand I knew it was a letter for Mommy" I blinked my eyes to make sure that the kid in front of me was still Luan, he's very serious.

"I don't know if I'm the right person to explain that to you Luan, but try to ask your Dada" That's all I could answer.

I wasn't surprised when Luan said that Lisa always cried at night, I knew her I knew she was just trying to show that she was brave for Luan but deep inside she was broken. She was good at pretending, as long as she could hide the pain she would hide it.

"How about Auntie Somi?" He asked, and my forehead furrowed.

"What about her?" I asked.

"Is she my new mommy?" I burst out laughing because of what he said.

"Of course not, what makes you think of that?"

"Well, she always takes care of us. She always cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner for us, and Dada smiles every time she talk to her." He replied, I thought I was the only one who noticed that Somi took care of Lisa and Luan differently, but I didn't see anything wrong with that if Somi likes Lisa maybe they should talk about it.

"Do you want Auntie Somi to be your Mommy?" I asked him.

He shrugged, "If she can make Dada happy that's fine with me, but Mommy Princess is still the best Mommy"

I didn't answer, I'm not in a position to say anything because I also don't know what's on Lisa's mind right now, but I think it's impossible for her to fall in love with Somi.

She only loves Jennie.

We arrived at the Ice cream parlor, "What do you want, Luan?" I asked as he looked at the menu.

"I want cookies and cream Mama Chaeng" He answered.

"Okay, wait me here" I left him in the chair and went to the counter to order.

"One cookies and cream, and strawberry ice cream please" I said, and while waiting I heard Luan crying loudly so I immediately turned around to where he was and I was shocked to see who the woman he was hugging.

Jennie.

"Mommy Princess, it's me Luan," Luan said while crying.

I immediately approached them, "Luan" I removed his hug from Jennie, "I'm sorry Miss, maybe he thought you were his mommy" I bowed at her.

Jennie smiled, "It's okay" She knelt down so she and Luan were equal. "You said you were Luan, right?" Luan nodded while his tears were still dripping, Jennie wiped away his tears before speak again. " I just look like your mommy, but I'm not your mommy" She explained to Luan. Luan looked up at me and his tears started dripping again. When Jennie noticed that she immediately spoke, "But you can call me Mommy, it's okay with me" She smiled at Luan.

"Can I hug you?" Luan asked while sobbing, and Jennie nodded so Luan immediately hugged her.

I feel sorry for the situation of the two of them, especially Luan he really misses Jennie.

A few seconds later they released into each other's arms. "Let's go, Luan" I held his hand. "Sorry for the inconvenience" I said to Jennie before we passed her.

"Miss I'll just take out my order" I paid for our order and left the ice cream parlor.

I put Luan in the car, and when I got in I faced him and wiped his wet cheek.

"Luan, can you do me a favor?" I asked him, he didn't answer so I take it as a yes. "Don't tell to your Dada that you saw your Mommy Princess, okay?" Even though Jennie said she wasn't the mommy that Luan was referring to, I know Luan still believed she was that.

"Why?" His forehead furrowed when he asked.

"You don't want to see your Dada cry, right?" I asked, and he nodded. "She might be hurt when she finds out you saw your mommy but she doesn't recognized you. You know your Dada loves you so much." I don't know if he will understand but since he has seen Jennie again I will explain it to him.

"What happened to Mommy Princess, does she have amnesia?" I was shocked when I heard that word from him. "I read that in the book, it's about losing memory, am I right Mama Chaeng?" I nodded. Luan is a really smart kid so I'm sure he'll understand what I'm going to say.

"Your Mommy had an accident six months ago that was the reason why she lost her memory, don't be angry with your Dada if she lied to you, she just wants the best for you and she thinks you are too young to understand about that" I explained to him.

Four months ago after Luan's birthday Lisa found out about Jennie's condition, and because of that she found it even more difficult to explain the situation to Luan, she knew Luan would be hurt when he found out that her Mommy would never come back, but the more painful was when Lisa learned that Jennie was going to marry Kai and that's because of Jisoo.

I took Luan to Manoban's Mansion where they lived temporarily.

When we went inside, I was shocked to see Lisa in the living room.

"I thought you were doing a lot in the studio?" I asked her, Luan approached her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Go to your room Baby, I'll just talk to Mama Chaeng" She ordered Luan.

When Luan walked upstairs she threw the papers she was holding on the table.

"Jisoo unnie filed a divorce paper and you signed it?" She asked angrily.

I couldn't answer, I was just looking at the papers on the table.
