CHAPTER 29 (JEALOUS)

LISA'S POV

I'm now seeking for a commercial facility for my future studio here in Seoul. I've been walking around the city for nearly an hour and have yet to find anything,  everyone is already occupied and others have already purchased. I decided to go back to the company because lunch was coming up, I promised Jennie that I would go with her to lunch today because I didn’t go with her yesterday.

Somi was the one who followed me inside the office. "Ms. Manoban, what can I do for you?" She inquired as I sat down.

"Are there any business buildings in Seoul that you know of?" I inquired her.

"Nothing, Ms. Manoban but if you want me to look into it, I'll do so" She replied courteously.

"That's better, it will be easier for me to find if someone helps me. Thank you, Somi"

"Is there anything else you need, Ms. Manoban?"

"Make me some coffee, please" I replied then she bowed to me before leaving the office.

I got up and went to the bookshelf that was here inside my office and I looked for the book I was reading yesterday. I saw the book and when I picked it up there was a dropped piece of paper and the wind blew it towards the back door. I was about to pick up the paper but suddenly the door opened and hit me in the head.

"Ouch!" I sat down on the floor and was held by my head. Because of Somi's shock, the coffee slipped from her hand causing to spill it all over my clothes.

"Fuck! It's hot!" Somi knelt down in front of me and wiped my clothes with her handkerchief.

"I'm sorry Ms. Manoban I didn't mean to" She just kept wiping my clothes. We are not in a good position now because I can see her cleavage and if anyone sees us they will think we are doing something bad. Somi apologized several times for what had happened, but she came to a halt as the door unexpectedly opened.

"Jen!" I quickly stood up and fixed my clothes. I swallowed my saliva when I saw her sharp gaze.

"You may leave, Somi" I tried not to stutter, Jennie still wouldn't take her sharp gaze away from me as if she was going to eat me at any moment. She followed Somi's gaze until she came out of the office.

"It's not like you think, Jen" I spoke first before she shouted at me. I swear if you can only see her face now it's like she's going to kill me. She lowered her gaze at my clothes. "Change your clothes before we have lunch" She said and slammed the door shut.

She's really mad!

I took some clothes from the closet here inside the office. All the coats I left is here. After I changed I went to Jennie’s office but she wasn’t there.

"Joy, where's Jennie?" I asked her secretary.

"She is downstairs Ms. Manoban" Joy replied and continued what she was doing.

"Won't you come with us for lunch?" I asked her again.

She shook her head. "Ms. Kim doesn't seem to be in the mood, I don't want to see a fiery dragon while eating" She jokingly said that caused me to laugh. "Go to her downstairs Ms. Manoban, she might be impatiently waiting for you"

I left Joy and ride the elevator, when I got to the ground floor I saw Jennie but she wasn't alone, she's talking to someone. My forehead furrowed when I saw her laughing while talking to a man. The man left before I could approach them.

"Nini". The smile disappeared from her lips when she saw me.

"Let's go" She said coldly and walked towards the parking lot.

She didn't even wait for me!

She didn't wait for me to open the door for her and she immediately went inside. I was just shaken because I didn’t know how to talk to her.

"Love". I called her while we were on our way to the restaurant. "Please talk to me, are you mad?" I asked her.

"No" She answered without looking at me.

"I'm sorry for what you saw earlier, I was just looking for the book I was reading yesterday and then a piece of paper fell behind the door, when I was going to pick up the paper but the door suddenly opened and hit my head I sat down and to Somi's surprise, the coffee was spilled on my clothes" I feel like I’m not breathing while explaining to her. She's still not talking.

"Love I'm sorry, don't be mad at me" I held her hand.

"I'm not mad, I'm jealous" She answered.

I knew it.

"Why does she need to be so close to you? You almost kissed when I entered" She said annoyed, I want to pinch her cheek because she's cute to be jealous but I don't think this is the right time to tease her.

"She was just wiping my clothes" I answer her.

"While you're looking at her cleavage? She asked sarcastically.

"Of course not! Why would I look there?" I parked the car in the parking lot when we got to the restaurant.

"What color is her bra?" She asked.

"Black?" I answered.

Ohh fuck shit!

"Don't talk to me Manoban!" She got out of the car and slam the door.

I also got out of the car and chased her. "Love, wait!"

"Love, your face! Go to your Somi!" She was walking fast but because her limbs were small I caught up with her and pulled her arm.

"Don't be jealous, you're the only one I love" I said to her and pout.

"You can't get me on that way, Manoban" She said and promptly left again.

"Why, am I cute huh?" I smirk.

"No you're not, let me go I'll eat alone."

"Tell me first that I'm cute" I teased her and she glared at me. "Have I ever told you that you're cute when you're jealous?" I pinched her nose lightly. "I'm sorry, okay?" I gave a peck on her lips. She sighed signaling that she could do nothing about it so I win.

No one can resist the charm of a Lisa Manoban.

I parked my car in front of his mansion and when I got off I was immediately greeted by the guards and maid.

"Where is he?" I asked a maid.

"He's waiting for you in his office, Ma'am" The maid answered politely.

"Thank you" I went straight to his office and knocked twice before entering.

"Lisa, it's good to see you inside my mansion again" He said lively.
