CHAPTER 08 (MY WIFE)

SEULGI'S POV

Irene and I had a fight this morning when she saw my secretary's message, which was just asking what time I would arrive at the office, and Irene became enraged because she mistook me for flirting with my secretary, and because of that I didn't eat breakfast before going to work since she didn't cook.

Even when I'm in the workplace, I'm texting and calling her but she doesn't answer. We often quarreled but never to the point of not talking to me for hours. Tell me I'm such a crying baby but I'm not really used to my Irene being like this to me. I feel like I'm going crazy at the thought of what she's doing, has she eaten, is she tired from work? Ahhhh! I hate all of these!

I didn't know if I would go home early or just wait for her to go to sleep, maybe when I came home all my clothes would be out.

I picked up my phone and dialed Lisa's number, she answered it in less than five seconds.

"Hey, why were you called?"

"Manoban, are you busy?"

"No, I'm actually going home, why?"

"Let's drink, my treat"

"Is there a problem?"

"I'll tell you later"

"Ok, just text me the address, and I'll be there"

"Okay"

I hung up the phone and gathered my belongings before leaving the office.

"So you're saying, Irene is jealous because your secretary texted you?" Manoban inquired, and I responded with a nod.

We're here at the bar, and we've had a lot to drink. I told Jisoo about it earlier, but she's too busy to come.

"Why did your secretary send you a text message? Can't she just wait for you to arrive at the office?" Her forehead was furrowed.

"I have the impression that she likes me, but I am not interested at her" I responded and drink a beer.

"Just understand that Irene was probably jealous" She said.

"She's not talking to me earlier and she's not answering my calls" I wiped my tears.

"Yahhh!! Seul why are you crying?!" Manoban shouted.

I can't really hold back my tears, whenever I think my baby is mad at me I cry.

"Don't cry, Irene might come here and think I made you cry" She stood up and was about to approach me but she suddenly fell down.

"You're drunk Manoban" I told her.

"I'm not drunk, you're drunk because you're crying" She pointed at me.

I ordered another beer.

"Seul, I don't want my wife to get mad at me for drinking too much" She drank a bottle of beer.

I thought she didn't want to drink too much? Tsk.

"You are not married yet Manoban" I shook my head.

"Future wife rather" She answered and drank beer again. "If she gets mad at me, she'll put me to sleep on the couch. I don't want to sleep there anymore, my back hurts" She added.

She stood up again. "Let's go home Seul if you don't want to see a fiery dragon here" She pulled my hand but we both just fell down.

The waiter helped us to get up.
