CHAPTER 06 (DECISION)

Lisa walks to Mr. Kim's office, when she got there the man's secretary open the door.

"Sir, Ms. Manoban is here" The secretary said.

The man nodded. "Let her in"

When Lisa entered the office, Mr. Kim greet her immediately. "Good morning Lisa, I'm glad you accepted my invitation" The man smiled at her.

"Good morning too Mr. Kim, I'm also glad to see you again" Lisa answered.

"Please take a sit" Lisa sat down on the chair accross the table of Mr. Kim.

"I hope you already read the email that we sent to you, I want to know your answer about my offer. If you have a question don't hesitate to ask me" The man said.

"I won't waste my time to go here if I don't accept your offer Mr. Kim." The man smiled widely when he heard Lisa's answer.

"If that so we will prepare your office, you can start tomorrow" The man stood up and offer his hands to Lisa for shake hands.

Lisa said her goodbye to Mr. Kim then get out of the office.

LISA'S POV

I'm inside the elevator when my phone vibrate. I answered my fiance's call.

"Hello babe how's the meeting with Mr. Kim? Did you accept his offer?"

"Yes, I accepted his offer besides I will only work for their company for 2 months"

"That's great! Are you going home? I will cook lunch, what do you want?"

"Yeah, I'll just past by Chaeyoung's house then I'll go home, about the lunch ahhmm I think I want spicy bulgogi, can you cook it for me?"

"Of course! Take care babe, I love you!"

"I love you too"

I hang up the call and put my phone in my pocket. She's Bae Suzy, my fiance I met her in Thailand, she's a chef and their restaurant are famous in different country. She's kind, caring and loving we've been together for more than 1 year. I proposed to her 2 months ago and I'm very happy when she answered yes. When I'm courting her she introduce me to her family, at first her mom's against us but when I proved to her that my intentions to her daughter was pure, she accepted me as well. I have nothing to say to her and her family they are so kind and they considered me as part of their family.

I went to Chaeyoung's house because she texted me earlier, maybe she missed me so much because I haven't shown up to them for two years, I receive their messages but I didn't reply. I really wanted to attend their wedding but I couldn't come back here in Seoul.

The guard opened the gate for me as soon as I arrived at their house. Their maid nodded at me when I got inside.

"Where's Chaeng?" I asked their maid.

"She's in the kitchen Ma'am" She answered politely.

I went straight to the kitchen and saw her baking.

"What's up Park Chaeyoung!" She accidentally threw the bowl with the flour and the flour scattered in her face, fortunately I catched the bowl.

"My ghad Lisa!" She glared at me.

I couldn't stop laughing because her face was so white. She went to the sink and washed, then cleaned her apron.

"Next time, please knock first" She said.

"Stop drinking coffee Park Chaeyoung!" I said while laughing.

She shook her head. "It's like I want to throw you out of my house right now" I laughed even more at what she said.

"Why do you want me to come here?" I asked her.

She shrugged. "Nothing, I just missed you"

"Aww so sweet!" I hugged her but she also immediately removed my hand.

"Sorry Lis, I have my wife" She was joking.

"Hey Park Chaeyoung, for your information I'm getting married and you're not my type!" I inserted a whole cookie in her mouth.

She looked at me again before she spoke. "That's the reason why I want you to come here"

My forehead furrowed. "What about that?"

"You didn't answer our texts and calls, then when you come back we will know that you're getting married" It was obvious in her voice that she was sad. She walked into the living room and I followed.

"Chaeng I'm sorry, I'm just busy with my career in Thailand, it's my dream you know that" I explain to her.

"I understand, maybe I just missed you, for 2 years we're not used that you were not with us in every hang out with the group" She said.

"Don't worry I'll make it up for you and for the group" I smiled at her and put my arm around her.

"How? You are getting married"

Why she doesn't seem happy that I'm getting married?

"It doesn't mean that I won't be able to hang out with all of you" I answered.

"Are you sure about the wedding?" I frowned because of her question.

"Of course, why did you ask?"

"Nothing" She answered and lowered her head.

"Chaeng I know you, if you're worried because you don't know her I'm telling you, she's a good person, she loves me and she always takes care of me" I assured her that she had nothing to worry about.

She looked straight at me. "How about Jennie?" I could not answer right away.

"We're over, Chaeng"

"You haven't talked to her, you suddenly disappeared like a bubble, you didn't even explain to her"

I tried to smile. "I didn't have to explain to her, she knew the reason why I left" I answered.

She looked at me with astonishment in her eyes. "What do you mean?"

I smiled at her. "Just ask her."

"Ever since you left we haven't always been with Jennie either, she's wasting her time at work and it's midnight when she comes home, we tried to ask her what happened to the both of you but we didn't get an answer, she never even mentioned your name. We don't know if it's good or bad but we didn't see her crying" Chaeyoung said while crying, she's very emotional when it comes to the people she love.

I don't know why she's telling me this but I wasn't surprised by what she said, I was expecting all of that.

"She used to be like that" That's all I can say. I said goodbye to Chaeng because my fiance texted me.

I made the right decision to leave, if I had stayed then I might not have reached all my dreams, maybe until now I am still waiting for her to fulfill all her dreams.
