CHAPTER 53 (CONFUSED)

Jennie continues to get letters from unknown person, and she looks forward to picking up and reading them everyday. She doesn't seem to notice that she always has a smile on her lips when she reads them, and the fact that she is going to get married appears to have vanished from her thoughts as well.

She frequently wonders if it's possible to love someone you don't know, or if she can fall in love with someone only based on the letters she receives, Jennie disregarded it, but she let herself drown in the letter's words, and she worried that she wouldn't be able to survive if she didn't receive it again one day.

SEULGI'S POV

Irene and I went to the hospital to talk to the doctor we knew, we're planning to have a baby we both decided on it, and we both knew we were ready. Honestly I seem to be the more excited of the two of us even though I’m not the one who will carry the baby, I’m looking forward to see little Irene running inside our house.

"Excuse me, Nurse is Dr. Minatozaki here?" I asked the nurse at the Information Desk.

"May I know your name, and if you have an appointment with Dr. Minatozaki?"

"I'm Kang Seulgi, and no, we don't have an appointment with her but she said we can go anytime" I replied.

"Okay mam, I'll inform her that you're here" She picked up the phone and talked to someone, "You can go up to the 3rd floor, she's waiting for you" She said as she hung up the phone.

I smiled and nodded, "Thank you"

I took Irene's hand and we walked to the elevator. When we got to the 3rd floor she said she's just going to the comfort room, so I waited for her in the hallway. While waiting I noticed a familiar woman coming out of a door not far away from where I stood. I stared at her to make sure I really knew her and I wasn’t mistaken, "It's Lisa" I whispered.

I didn't see her for a long time. The last time I saw her was when she begged Jisoo to see Jennie and after that I didn't see her in the hospital. I also didn't have a chance to ask how she is, because Irene told me not to meet her. Irene was angry because of what she did to Jennie, but I feel guilty because I didn't even listen to her side, I will admit that I was also angry because of the pictures I saw, and I couldn’t quite imagine that she and Chaeyoung could do that thing, so I can’t blame Jisoo for why she was so mad at Lisa and Chaeyoung that she got to the point where she filed for divorce. She feels like she betrayed by her own friend.

I was about to follow Lisa, but suddenly Irene came and when I turned in her direction she was no longer there.

"Let's go?" We walked to Dr. Minatozaki’s office, I knocked first three times and when I heard her voice I opened the door.

"Kang Seulgi, it's nice to see you again" She smiled at me, and I slightly hugged her.

"Irene, I missed you!" She passed me and hugged Irene.

"I missed you too, Sana, but please let go of me" Irene said while laughing.

Sana removed her embrace and grin, "So you two want to have a baby huh? She wiggle her eyebrow.

"Cous, please act Professional" I said to her, and shook my head. Minatozaki Sana is my cousin who I never expected to be a Doctor.

She laughed and sat down in her swivel chair, "Okay I'm serious now, please take a sit" She pointed to the two chairs in front of her table. She took a deep breath before speaking, "I'll explain to you all about IVF Pregnancy, and if you ask me if it's really possible well yes it is, but may I know which of you will carry the baby?" She looked at the two of us, and I looked at Irene. "Why aren't you Kang Seulgi?" she asked while grinning at me. Irene laughed so I looked at Sana badly.

She chuckled and shook her head, she explained to us all about IVF Pregnancy as well as the do's and don'ts when the IVF Process starts. "Are we clear?" She asked and we nodded. "It's good that Irene will carry your baby" She continued.

"Stop teasing me Minatozaki Sana" I warned her. This is what I meant when I said I didn't expect her to be a Doctor.

"Wait, how's Chaeyoung by the way? She also came here and asked me about the process" Irene and I looked at each other because of what Sana said.

"Do you still remember when she came here?" Irene asked.

Don't tell me, Chaeyoung and Lisa planning to have a baby?

Is that really possible?

"I think a month after you got married, she said she will talk to Jisoo, but I wonder why she didn't come back" Sana replied.

It was as if I stiffened in my seat when I heard that.

So she's planning to have a baby with Jisoo?

Irene held my hand, I'm sure we're both thinking the same thing now.

"Are you okay?" Sana asked with a frown.

I forced a smile, "Yeah, about Chaeyoung I think she's fine" I didn't say the reason why Chaeyoung didn't come back here, because I don't think she needed to know.

We got up and said goodbye to Sana, but before we finally left I asked her, "Who is the Doctor next to your office?" She frowned at my question, but answered right away.

"He's Dr. Jeon an ophthalmologist, why?"

I shook, "Nothing" I answered and walked out of her office.

First Chaeyoung then now Lisa, why do I feel like we don’t know anything about the situation? Have we become too impulsive in judgment?

Chaeyoung wants to have a baby with Jisoo, and Lisa sees an ophthalmologist? What's happening?
