JENNIE'S POV

I woke up that Lisa was no longer beside me, it looked like she went to work early again. It's been two months since she opened her own studio, and she's always been busy, but I can't blame her since I know it's her goal, and she's also spent how many months preparing for it, so I want to support her even if I notice she's losing time with us.

I noticed Luan peeking out the door of my room as it slowly opened. "Hey baby, what are you doing there? Come here to mommy," I said, motioning for him to come inside and embrace me.

"Good morning mommy princess, where's Dada?" He asked and looked around.

"Dada went to work, baby" I replied to him.

"Again? But it's Sunday mommy, she promised me that we're going to park today" Luan said sadly, and it was then that I realized it was Sunday. Why did she go to work, I thought she had a day off every sunday?

"Don't worry baby, I'll call Dada," I picked up my cellphone and dialed Lisa's number.

Just a few seconds later she answered the call, "Hello Love, good morning," she greeted me warmly.

"Luan is looking for you. Why did you go to work today? I thought you had a day off every sunday?" I asked her.

"I'm sorry, Love, but I'm pretty busy in the studio right now."

"Luan is upset because you promised him we'd go to the park," I said, looking at Luan, who was now hugging me and listening to my conversation with Lisa.

"Don't worry, I'll be home early; all I have to do now is finish what I'm doing here," she replied.

"OK, don't get too tired there and eat," I said, overhearing her feeble giggle on the other side.

"Yes, my love, have your breakfast; I'll finish what I'm doing; I love you"

"I love you too," I said before hanging up.

"Did you hear what Dada said?" I touched his chin and turned him to face me, "So don't be sad, Dada will keep her promise to you," I said, kissing him on the nose.

"Let's get breakfast mommy princess," he says as he pulls my hand out of the room.

"Play first, mommy will simply make breakfast," I told him as I escorted him to the living room to play.

Luan and I were eating quietly after I finished cooking when my phone vibrated, and I looked to see who was texting.

From: Wedding organizer,

Good morning, Ms. Kim. I have already found a suitable venue for your wedding, and if you are available today, I can accompany you to see it.

I groaned; I'd been looking forward to see the location, but it wasn't possible today, so I texted our wedding planner to let her know I wasn't available right now.

"Mommy princess, what time will Dada go home?" Luan inquired.

"I don't know, baby," I replied. "She didn't tell me."

After we finished eating, I put the plates away and showered Luan, and now we're in the living room watching cartoons. All we can do is wait for Lisa to arrive.

I was able to make lunch a few hours later; I'm sure Lisa will be here soon; I texted her earlier but she has yet to respond; perhaps she is busy with work. We returned to the living room after lunch and I played with Luan, who appeared impatient to wait because he had been staring at the door earlier.

It was 3:00 p.m., but Lisa was still not here, and I had not received a message from her, I looked at Luan and realized that he was sad while playing.
