"Hey (y/n) is spending the night tonight" Yeonjun and Soobin walk in.
"Okay why are you telling me this?" I asked a little confused.
"So you are aware and have clothes in" Soobin replies laughing.
"She had seen all of us in our underwear! Why do I have to be dressed now?" Yeonjun rolls his eyes at me and calls everyone else out of their rooms to eat.
"Just be nice to her okay. She's in a tough situation she won't talk about and needs support okay?" I nod taking my container of food. I wasn't mean to (y/n) but I wasn't necessarily nice either.
"Hey I made it but look I really don't have to stay here I can find somewhere else" (y/n) walks in with a book bag and her plushie. I had never really seen this side of her. Every time she spent the night before I would go home and sleep in my bed at home.
"(Y/n) you are always welcomed here come I will share my food with you" Yeonjun pulls the chair out next to him for her to sit.
"Oh no thank you! You are already doing so much for me letting me crash on your couch. You don't need to feed me also." I could sense her voice tremble when she said that. She was hiding something big but making it seem like a small inconvenience.
"Okay well if you get hungry you know there's food in the fridge and you can order anything as well." She nodded and sat across from me with her book bag on her lap and all her things with her. She seemed oddly out of character today.
"You can place your things down and get comfortable" I stated looking over at her opposite from me.
"So (y/n) how is life?" Beomgyu asked her. He approached her with a big hug which she willingly welcomed.
"It's life nothing more nothing less... I am still alive and that's all that matters!" She smiled up at him but I could tell the vague description of how she is doing was flawed.
After eating we sat and watched a movie. (Y/n) would look at the door a lot of times and jump at any tiny thing. This made me worry about what is going on with her. The movie ended and we all went to our rooms. (Y/n) got comfortable on the couch but I didn't see her fall asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night and walked out of my room to pee. I was leaving the bathroom when I tripped over my own foot. (Y/n) jumped up and started crying wrapping herself up in the blanket in a little ball.
"Please don't hurt me! Please go away! I am sorry!" Make it stop please make it stop" she screamed while crying. I turned the light on and approached her quickly. The boys ran out of their rooms to see what the commotion was about.
"Shhhh (y/n) it's just me Taehyun! You are safe here no one is going to hurt you." Yeonjun pieced the puzzle together and walked into his room to get dressed. Soobin followed quickly after realizing himself.
"I am sorry! I should go I am sorry for waking you all up!" She sobbed harder and was looking for her things to leave.
"You are not leaving!" I panic and wrap my arms around her in a tight but loving hug.
"Taehyun please..." she whispered trying to get out of my grip.
"I am not letting you leave. You are safe here... we will protect you... I WILL PROTECT YOU!" I yelled making her stop squirming and melt into my body. She started to sob again and turned her head to cry in my shoulder.
"You can't protect me..." she started to choke on her words and I rubbed her back to calm her down.
"I can and I will... just tell me what's going on" I coo kissing the side of her head.
"Her ex found her again and she is terrified of him. He's back to his bad habits and she is so traumatized she can never face him in court. I am going to take care of this on my own this time." Yeonjun and Soobin walk out of the dorm. Kamal and Beomgyu go back to bed leaving me and (y/n) in the living room alone.
"I am sorry I didn't tell any of you" she whispered. She had stopped crying but I wouldn't let her go.
"It's okay" I whispered back.
"Thank you!" She said kissing my cheek.
"For what?" I asked confused.
"I haven't felt safe in a while... right now I feel safer than I have in all my life. I know it's just an in the moment situation and you will go back to your snarky comments tomorrow... but thank you for putting your hate towards me aside and making me feel safe" I choked on my words making me speechless. She thought I hated her when it was the complete opposite. After calming down a little I looked down at her finally sleeping peacefully. She didn't look like she was on guard like when I came out here to use the bathroom.
"I will do anything in my power to make sure you are safe and to love you while you get better" I kissed her forehead and moved around a little so I could get comfortable.
I wake up the next day and (y/n) is sitting on the floor with her back up against the couch. I look at the time and it's still pretty early. I reach out and Pat her shoulder making her turn around.
"Sorry I will-" I cut her off and pulled her back into my arms.
"It's super early let's sleep a little longer" I groaned wrapping her up in my arms again.
"I don't want you to be uncomfortable we are on the couch" she mumbles in my chest trying to push away.
"You are right" I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder making a clear line to my bed. I opened the door quietly so Kamal wouldn't wake up but he was a heavy sleeper anyway. I placed her on my bed and got in next to her burying my face in her neck.
"What are you doing?" She tried to stifle a laugh.
"I don't hate you... on the contrary I've been in love with you for quite sometime. I am not good with putting feelings into words but I think my actions speak louder." I kept my eyes closed and intertwined our fingers so I could hold her small hand.
"Taehyun please don't pla-" I kissed her gently. My lips molded perfectly with her and with each smooth movement our lips did in sync, I deepened the kiss more and more. I pulled away and rubbed my nose with Hers.
"I am not playing and never will when it comes to a situation like this" I pecked her lips and laid back on the pillow.
