Jay opened his eyes, he didn't recognize anything. Until he shuffled his gaze to his left to see a petite blonde woman pace around his room. He thought it was Hailey at first, her blonde hair and small body made it easy to differentiate her to Kim who was one, brunette and two a lot taller. He just listened to the woman talk until she looked over and he caught sight of her face. His breath caught. Erin. He hitched her voice in his throat. She was here.
He remembered hearing voices when he was unconscious, someone kept talking about living with Voight? And getting back on the job? He was confused as he didn't understand why the girls would be saying that.
That was until he woke up and realized Erin hadn't left his side the whole time. She had been there waiting for him to wake up.
"Erin" he whispered hoarsely, quiet enough that she almost missed it. But the second she heard Jays voice her head snapped around and looked in his direction.
Erin walked over to Jay and put her hand in his, to her surprise. He didn't pull away. Instead he squeezed her hand and pulled it closer to encourage her to sit down. He lifted his gaze and admired Erin for a moment. Maybe she was still the same Erin before she left? Maybe things aren't so different after all? He thought. Jay's mind was going a mile a minute, Erin was here this whole time. She never left. Never gave up. He was so unfair on her when she came back when all she wanted to do was love him. And him her.
Their chemistry was undeniable. From the moment they met, the pair were inseparable. They went through thick and thin together until they tried the whole relationship thing. Which didn't end well for either of them. Erin stayed up all night most nights, thinking of Jay with whichever guy she was hooking up with. All she could think about when the guys held her body in all the right spots was how the wished it was Jay. Everything was fine until that night. The night before her whole life changed.
Flashback.
There was music swirling around the house. Erin was sitting on the couch with a shot of vodka in one hand and a joint in the other. The white lines and orange bottles on the table keeping her going strong. Her top was cut low so the top of her bra was showing. Her skinny jeans formed perfectly to her body, showing off her curves. She felt amazing. The music kept going and she kept the shots flowing. All the could think about was the brown haired, blue eyed man that she left behind all those months ago. She shook her mind from the thought of him. There's no going back now. She thought. It's all over. She kept drinking until a guy appeared beside her. He was muscular, tall, had black hair and the letters FUCK on his right hand. He looked at her up and down,
"Wanna share some of that with me?" he asked with a smirk as he moved closer to Erin. She smiled a cheeky grin and offered him a bump.
"Johnny Sandoval" she said as he happily obliged to take the rolled up dollar bill from her right hand and when he brought his head back up to her level. She kissed him, and he kissed back. Something was off though. She thought as she was kissing her high school boyfriend.
Johnny didn't know how to put his hands on her body like he did. Johnny didn't know how to make her happy with the tiniest touch in the right places. Johnny didn't know how to make Erin feel good. Only he could do that. She thought. Only Jay could. She kept trying to push the image of her ex boyfriend from her mind.
Fuck. She thought out loud, which Johnny thought meant let's go further. He picked her up under the thighs and carried her into an empty bedroom. He pulled his belt and top off as she lay on the bed. She was stunned. He climbed back on top of her and kissed down her body, she shifted slightly. She wasn't happy. He pulled her top off and undid the buttons of her pants.
Erin was too out of it so say otherwise. But when he was undressed and had undressed her in the process. A conscience kicked in,
"Johnny stop" she said breathlessly. He just covered her mouth with his hand.
"Shut up bitch. You're not as fun as you were in high school. But I still got it" He said viciously before he went further and did whatever he wanted to Erin's stunned and overwhelmed body. She was just lying there thinking, I'm being raped right now. When she tried to push him off, he grabbed her by the neck...Erin felt a cold hand squeeze her hand and she freaked out a little. And stood up startled, until she looked around the room and realized she wasn't at Bunny's house anymore. She was in a hospital, Erin looked down to see a pair of the most gorgeous blue eyes staring back at her.
"Where'd ya go?" he asks softly. Squeezing her hand. She missed this. She missed him."No where, I was just thinking" she lied. Erin was never going to tell anyone about what happened that night with Johnny. That was a promise she made to herself.
Erin didn't want anyone pity or to say 'Oh Im so sorry that happened to you' because no amount of sorry could fix the damage he'd done.
She brought that on herself though. She thought to herself before viciously snapping herself from the thought and looking back at Jay. Who's eyes were cloudy so she couldn't tell what emotions were behind them. The emotions behind the eyes looking at her once boyfriend were clear. She was still in love. Erin just hoped that he was too
