The car ride was quiet. It was going to last a while so Jay decided to try and break the silence.

"Can we talk about this?" Jay pleaded.

"Talk about what? Oh right. The fact that you have another daughter in Chicago right now with some chick you slept with" Erin snapped.

"I get it you're mad. And I didn't tell you because Maddy is supposed to stay away from Chicago. After that night" He tried to start explaining but she cut him off.

"What night?" Erin's eyes narrowed.

"It's nothing important. Basically Maddy and I went to a club, I got drunk. She got high. We hooked up then I told her to leave because of you. Erin what did you expect? For me to wait on my hands for two years whilst you decided if you wanted to be a cop again? Be with me again? Hell even see your daughter. Our daughter again?" This time it was his turn to take the heat up a little bit. Maybe it was a bad idea but honestly he didn't care.

"No..." she finally said quietly. He knew he shouldn't have snapped at her but she was acting like he intended for this to happen.

"I'm getting a DNA test. I don't trust a word out of Maddy's mouth" he spat before turning down the road to the district. Erin was quiet the rest of the ride.

Unsure of wether to be mad or to be upset. He thought she wasn't coming back. And when she did she came with a whole lot of baggage and a baby girl...

Who he found out about because she was kidnapped and tortured. Mom of the year award. Erin retorted to herself in her mind before they pulled into the car park.

Jay killed the engine and got out of the car before turning on his heel and going into the district. Erin close, but not too close behind him.

"Guys we have another issue. There are more bodies" Hailey radioed over the intercom.

Just as Halstead and Lindsay came up the steps they were met with a coffee mug hurtling at their heads. Both nearly missed it hitting their heads. Voight put his hand up and apologized.

"We have more bodies now... Hailey. Atwater. How many more bodies and are they related?" Voight asked over his radio.

"Twelve more bodies Sarge... And oh yeah. They're related. Raped and a single gunshot to the abdomen. They were left somewhere to bleed out before being moved here. They all look like they've been here weeks if not months" Hailey said over the intercom before there was some more noise.

"Guys scratch that. We have fourteen. I repeat fourteen bodies. All young females, and the youngest seems to be" Everyone heard an audible gulp over the radio.

"13" Haileys voice was sad.

The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

"Sorry to interrupt guys. But Halsteads CI might be on to something. She gave him an address, a phone number, makes and models of multiple guns and names. Yates and McLeod. It looks like they're doing a gun buy later today" Mouse spoke quietly.

He was comfortable with the Intelligence Unit now. He had been working for them for almost two years and had definitely found his place. Erin actually really liked the guy. But talking in front of FBI and New York specialists wasn't his favorite thing to do.

"Send us all the address. We need to make a plan and make it fast. The amount of bodies we have so far is 23. If we catch them both. They're going somewhere where the light doesn't even shine" Hadleys tone was ice cold. She meant what she said.

A few hours later the whole crew was gathering around the table in the roll up awaiting their instructions.

"Raiding is an Intelligence speciality so Sergeant Upton and I are letting Voight take the lead here" Sergeant Benson motioned for Voight to take the reins as he thanked her briskly.

"Alright. This warehouse isn't big but there are loads of hiding spots and escape routes. Remember, we want Yates. Dead or alive. McLeod doesn't matter, because if you cut off the head the body won't live much longer. Captain Benson would you take Rollins, Amaro and Carisi, also take Ruzek and Burgess. I want you guys covering the North and West sides of the building. Hailey, Hadley, Atwater, Emmy, Patterson and Koda. I want you guys taking the South and East sides of the building. Lindsay, Jay, Antonio and I will cover every obvious exit. Do not. Under any circumstances let them get away. Understood?" All the detectives and officers set on their tasks and headed to the warehouse preparing for the biggest raid of their life...

Everyone was watching the building quietly, no sign of movement whatsoever until a burgundy SUV, a grey Mustang and a silver Lexus appeared and stopped inside of the warehouse. Their engines were cut and the men set about to chatting.

Guns were pulled out of the silver Lexus before McLeod and Yates stepped out of the burgundy SUV. Hank gave the signal to move. All the people on scene approached the building.

Jay took out his smoke bomb and threw it into the building.

Not even five seconds later the doors were being busted in and everyone ran over to Yates and McLeod. Assuring they didn't escape again. The gunrunners were dirt. They didn't need them. They had what they wanted.

Erin made a point to firmly shove Ethans hands behind his back whilst reciting his rights.

"You're just as beautiful and as tough as your little protege Nadia was... Oh what a precious soul" Erin knew he was trying to get into her head. She pulled his arm back harder to put it into cuffs. But before she could he whipped around and knocked her to the ground.

Before she knew it she fired a shot. Getting him straight in the forehead as he was about to get up. She froze, so did everyone in the warehouse and and an audible sigh was heard.

She just killed Ethan Yates. The man who tried to kill her.

Erin looked around but all she could see was everyone looking conflicted. She hoped she had done the right thing...

Otherwise she didn't know if she could live with the consequences.
