Wailing police sirens filled the air as several police cars pulled up, an ambulance not far behind them. A few officers entered the house with Miss Myers, her perplexed tone turning into fully-fledged screaming a few seconds later. A kind, female police officer pulled you to her car and called your mother's phone after you showed her your parent's number, trying to take care of you. Then your mother arrived on the chaotic scene, her shrieks of horror only adding to the loud noises.

"Oh (Y/n), are you alright? Are you hurt? Injured? Bleeding anywhere? Did he attack you!?" Your mother questioned in a panicked tone, flinging her arms around you and holding you close - to make sure that you weren't in any sort of soreness or physical pain.

But the only type of ache you felt was heartache. Trying to find the words to answer her, you struggled to speak - only receiving tears of tiredness and softly crying. "I-I...I trusted...I...I didn't know he'd...I-I mean—" Your voice shook whilst you attempted to answer, but no words would willingly come forth. You just...couldn't.

"I know...I know." Your mother whispered, cradling your face and kissing your forehead as she did her best to comfort you.

"JUDITH! JUDITH! MY BABY!" Miss Myers screeched wildly, clinging to the ambulance stretcher and stroking the face of her now-deceased daughter.

"Come on, we need to let the police deal with all of this. Let's get you home." Your mother spoke in a stressed-out voice, taking your hand and turning your back on the Myers house altogether. What you didn't expect was to hear a cry of furious rage coming from behind you both; Michael charging at your mother a second or two later and targeting her in frustration.

"Mom!" You gasped as he slammed her to the ground, his hands flying to her neck. He started to strangle her, twitching with unstable hatred whilst he attempted to murder your mother. A police officer pulled him off and tried to drag him away, having trouble with the squirming boy. But Michael had other ideas, stamping his foot on the officer's shoe and elbowing him in the face at the exact same time - managing to get free one more time.

He then wrapped his arms around you in a desperate hug, acting insanely possessive. "DON'T leave me! Don't you DARE leave me! You, me and Boo, we're a team! We're a...We're a FAMILY! DON'T let them ruin it! DON'T let them! (Y/N)!" He yelled in a deranged manner, clinging to you as two police officers grabbed his waist.

Your eyes went wide with shock, not knowing how to respond to Michael's words and scary statement. What was he trying to...? "No! NO! Let GO of me! LET GO OF ME! She's MINE, (Y/n)'s MINE! No! NO!" Michael shouted violently; writhing in their grasp whilst they tugged him further away from you.

"JUDITH! JUDITH!" Miss Myers howled in the background heartbrokenly - merely adding to the discord and disharmony.

"Please make your way over to the ambulance so we can check your neck, Ma'am." The female police officer helped her up and placed a hand on her shoulder, making sure she was alright.

"I-I can't leave my daughter alone. She's been through so much already, she needs to go home and be looked after!" Your mother panicked again, now growing frantic and hysteric a second time.

"We'll see to it that someone looks after her, please don't fret." The woman responded soothingly, trying to defuse the situation and calm your mother down.

"But, I...I...Okay." Your mother sighed in defeat and turned to you, her expression anxious.

"I'll be back soon, sweetie. Go back to the house with the nice lady and try to forget about tonight, alright? Don't listen to what he just screamed at you. It'll be okay. Everything will be okay. I love you, honey." She told you in a hushed voice, cupping your cheek as her thumb brushed across your skin delicately.

"I love you too." You quietly replied, feeling emotionless while you watched your mother hand the house keys over to the female police officer before walking over to the available medics - the police woman taking ahold of your right hand.

"Let's go, hun. I'm sure you're very tired after all of this." The lady comforted you kindly, clearly wanting to be nice towards you. Appreciating that, you gave her a small nod and followed her back home - the female police officer unlocking the front door and ushering you into the quiet house a second after.

"Miss...?" You tearfully called, a little nervous about talking to her whilst you turned to face her. "What...What's going to happen...? Are they going to...to hurt him...?"

"I'm afraid I'm not sure. What he did...was very, very wrong. It's up to the court to give the verdict. Not us." The police woman answered as best as she could - but she didn't seem to know either, her face hesitant.

"Oh...right..." You unhappily mumbled, not knowing how to feel about her response. Were you nervous because you cared about him...? Or were you nervous because you wanted him away from you...? You...You had no idea.

The female officer stayed with you until your mother returned home; both of you sitting in the living room and flicking through the TV channels while she attempted to distract you. But that was difficult - because not only were you taking note of how she was making calls and talking to multiple people about what had just happened, but Michael's psychotic words were almost etched into your mind.

"I...I got so jealous when Jacob sat down and talked to you on the bench today - I wanted to hurt him so badly... And when I think about how Wesley grabbed your waist the other day...I'm just happy that he's dead."
"Wh-What did you do to Wesley—?"
"I made sure he'd never bully you again."

"Michael...W-Whatever you did..." "—you have to tell someone. W-What you're saying you've done...It's...It's wrong. I-It's...It's not right."
"Nobody seemed to care that he picked on people. Nobody seemed to care that he hurt you. And now...nobody will care about him."
"But there's no way you can hide this. It's...It's first-degree murder."

"I don't care. All I care about is you, and you care about me...don't you?"
"W-Well yes, I do, but—"
"So that settles it. We'll be best friends - just the two of us - and I'll tell you how much I love you every day."
"M-Michael wait—!"

"I knew as soon as I'd met you that I liked you - I even kept one of your bracelets when we were unpacking your things together. I didn't mean to take it, but it just reminds me so much of you...and it's really pretty, just like you are. It was like we were made to be together."

"I-I thought I'd lost that bracelet—! Or at the very least, I thought that I'd forgotten to bring it with me when I moved here—!"
"Sometimes I just want to stare at you...look into your lovely (e/c) eyes...see your sweet smile...and sometimes...sometimes I can't even take in how kind you are."

"St-Stop it...Stop it! I...I can't take this! Michael, you...you're really creeping me out!"

Gasping, you jolted awake, your breathing shaky but your body feeling numb. You must've fallen asleep whilst watching TV, your heartbeat bouncing out of control as you tried your hardest to keep your calm. Memories...Last night's events were just that. Horrible...Horrible memories. Everything was alright. You were safe in your living room, the quiet atmosphere striking you as being relatively peaceful while you slowly sat up. The police woman was gone, but where was your mother...? Where was everyone...? Were you all alone...? Didn't your mother say she'd be back before the officer left...?
