"Can I see (Y/n) today? Or can she see me?" Michael asked a blonde woman hopefully, his tone almost begging as he gazed at her with desperation.
"No, not today." She spoke sadly, shooting him a sorrowful smile and squeezing his hands in an attempt to cheer him up.
"Tomorrow?" The boy pressed.
"I don't know. I...I have to talk to the doctor about that." She told him in a hesitant manner - straight-up lying to him at this point.
—
"Hey, Mommy?" The blonde woman glanced down at her son, the cute "Mommy" causing her to lovingly smile.
"Yeah?" She lightly questioned, praying that it was something outside of wanting to come home or wanting to see (Y/n). Unfortunately—
"Is (Y/n) okay? How is she doing? Why hasn't she come to visit me yet...?" Michael asked almost immediately, never stopping his obsession with the (h/c)-girl.
"She's okay. Everything's okay."
"Okay."
—
"See what I mean...?" Dr. Loomis commented with another sigh, pausing the recordings for a moment to press his hand against his forehead. "Every session. Every day. Every hour. It was nonstop. Every time we discussed something, it would always switch back to you."
"Back to me...? But...But why...?" You wondered with uneasiness - not understanding the younger boy's wishes or his wishes. "He must've had other friends at Haddonfield Elementary School."
"I'm afraid not." Dr. Loomis softly smiled, shaking his head before he looked up. "Michael got into an excessive amount of trouble back in Haddonfield Elementary. Fights, detentions, being late to class, not getting on with teachers - you name it."
"But those are common problems you have at school! You can't blame him for that! For Heaven's sake, he's a boy! They do that!" You defended this "Michael Myers" with a supportive tone - your shyness fading while you skimmed through more files.
"That's not all." The child psychologist carried on, taking the folder from you so he could flick to a certain page. "I don't know if you've read through my entire novel yet, but he didn't have any friends. And it wasn't the other students who distanced themselves from him - it was Michael who distanced himself from them."
"He probably just felt threatened." You firmly fired back, feeling bad on his behalf after hearing how alone he felt. "I know I did when I moved to a new home and a new school fifteen years ago."
"There's a difference between feeling threatened and behaving like a psychopath, (Y/n)." Dr. Loomis sternly stated, pointing to another file before clearing his throat. "See this folder right here?"
"Oh, uh, let's see here..." You murmured under your breath intently, following his finger and reading the title. "Haddonfield, Illinois...1990...31st of October...That would've been Halloween, wouldn't it...?"
"You would be correct." He nodded with a grave gaze, "When I was interrogating Michael, he told me the two of you were going to go Trick-or-Treating that night."
