"No offence, but I tend not to feel sorry for psychotic little boys." After flashing you a playful smile in response, Alina let out a light laugh and dropped the town's dark history; both of you reaching Haddonfield's local library a few minutes afterwards.
"Is that so?" Sarcasm dripped from your tone as you swiftly replied to her remark, the two of you entering through the front doors. "Considering the amount of horror movies you've watched, I think I might disagree with you on that."
"Hey, Friday The 13th is a classic. Don't even start with me." Ali defended with a huff, shoving your side and complaining.
"I know, I know." You smirked, watching her rifle through the newest novels. "It's just so fun to mess with you - especially when it comes down to things like town history~"
"Look, here's the book. You happy?" Surprise spread straight across your glance like wildfire when she tossed said book at you, making you jump as it smacked you right in the middle of your face.
"You didn't have to throw it at me." You exclaimed in shock - the blonde-girl bursting out with laughter a couple of seconds later.
"D'aww, (Y/n), (Y/n), (Y/n), did I scare you~?" She cooed in a sweet tone of voice, ruffling your hair before taking the book back and heading over to check it out.
"I will END you!" You called after her with a laugh of your own, crossing your arms once you'd fixed your hair.
"Wait...(Y/n)...?" A stunned voice spoke from behind you, touching your shoulder and strangely wanting to get your attention.
"Um, yes...? How...do you know my name...?" You wondered with a defensive attitude, spinning around to face them and stare them down with a narrowed gaze.
"You're (Y/n) (L/n), right...?" The adult male asked with an amazed expression, looking as though he was unable to believe it. "The girl who used to live here fifteen years ago...?"
"I was told that I used to live here as a little kid. Why does that matter to you...?" You suspiciously questioned, feeling a little on-edge and uncomfortable by his knowledge of you.
"No way...No way...! It's really you. I don't believe it...No, I can't believe it." He dramatically announced, taken-aback by your sudden appearance. "I didn't think you'd come back to Haddonfield. Not after what happened with Michael."
"Excuse me...?" You frowned in bemusement, your puzzled look confusing the other adult.
"Wait, what...? You...You don't remember...?" He pushed the matter further - acting even more unbalanced in your eyes.
"Listen, buddy, all I remember is that I used to live here with my Mom when I was a little kid to get away from my bastard of a real father. Sorry if I used to play with you and forgot or something, buuuuut—"
"Alright, alright, wait. Just humour me for a moment then. Please." He begged pleadingly, pressing one fist against his heart and waiting for you to indulge him - even for a little bit.
"Okay, then. Say I did used to know you when I was a little kid. Why is it so important to you that I remember now...?" You coolly inquired, still feeling incredibly sceptical and shifting from foot-to-foot as you spoke to him.
