"Don't worry about it. Dad said that she'll recover with time...I just have to keep that in mind...that's all." You tiredly recalled; wrapping your arms around his neck and resting the side of your face against his chest. "It's...It's really no big deal. My stepsister and stepfather are staying over at Alina's place until the morning anyway."
Michael curled his arms around you in response, his strong hold on you growing massively tighter while he became even more worried over how you were feeling. "I'll be fine...I just...didn't see it coming. I thought she'd be busy with work...or something suddenly came up...But nothing like...nothing like this." You whispered in despair, tears pricking at the edge of your eyes a second time.
Before you could continue blaming yourself, the quiet male stepped-in; taking his white mask off like this morning whilst one arm was still wrapped around your waist. "Michael...? What are you...?" You didn't even get to finish, the stalker cradling your right cheek with his left hand, just so he could press his lips passionately against yours. H-He was kissing you...!? Yet again...!? Wait a minute—
Clasping his left shoulder with your right hand, you gave it a soft squeeze, moving away a little bit and using your other one to lightly pull his white mask up; pressing your lips lovingly against his in order to calm him down even further. So of course your partner kissed back, his hold on you lessening while he wrapped one arm around your waist and delicately cradled your cheek with the palm of his left.
"I know...I know you don't want me to blame myself..." You muttered under your breath with averted eyes, breaking the kiss for a few seconds as you let Michael help you to your feet instead of staying on the floor. "But it's hard not to...Because I didn't want her to suffer the way she did...I didn't...I didn't want her to..." Tears dripped whilst you spoke, your hands now gripping his shoulders for any means of possible comfort.
Although Michael kept one arm hugged around your body, his other hand stroked tenderly through your hair; his soft touch being somewhat soothing whilst he allowed you to let it all out and sob. Then, after you'd broken down for long enough, he guided you back into your bedroom, the two of you now sitting on the edge of your bed. You were about to open your mouth and strike up a fresh conversation, when your partner pointed towards the bedroom door - wanting to know more about who the little dark-haired girl was. Oh, he was curious about your stepsister.
"That's Gabby. She's my younger stepsister, and even though we may be seven-years apart, she's always been bubblier and brighter than me." You hesitantly described, swinging your legs ever-so-slightly while you slowly regained your composure. "We're not actually blood-related - due to my Mom divorcing and dealing with a restraining order over ten-years-ago - so she ended up remarrying, and Gabby's been my stepsister ever since. Not necessarily a blood-sister."
A slither of jealousy swirled around his stare; the stalker plainly wishing that both of his sisters had given him the same amount of affection and adoration that you were giving to your sibling. "Pretty complicated for a family, am I right...?" You commented with a soft smile, doing your best to lighten the mood. Then, you swiftly remembered his family.
"I have an older sister - Judith - and she's a bitch." "My Mom has a boyfriend, but I can't stand that bastard."
"Oh...that sucks."
"I also have a younger sister. Her name's Angel, but I call her "Boo"."
"That's adorable."
"Sorry, I...I forgot about your family..." You sighed in a sorrowful tone, hugging your knees close and glancing up at him with shame. "Yours was probably way worse than mine. I didn't mean to set off any bad—" Before you could continue, Michael shrugged - clearly not caring about his previous relatives.
