"Come back, Loki!" you could hear as the Asgardian prince stumbled into your room.  You looked up from your work, designing a new aquarium for the realm.  He slams the door behind him, you raising an eyebrow at him.

        "And that was about...?"

"I don't even want to talk about it."  He flops onto your bed, folding his arms and scowling at the ceiling.  You tap your pencil, contemplating whether to get back to work or tackle this problem.  After a few moments, you put down your utensil and rise from your seat.

        "Hey, Loki?"

        "What?" he snaps.

        "I'm thinking of a song..."

        "(Y/N), not now."

"It's a wonderful song, I'm sure your familiar with it."  You start to do the musical interlude for Frank Sinatra's New York, New York.  Loki covers his ears, but it's no use; you're belting this out, and he's going to here one way or another.

        "Start spreading the news!"

        "Shut up!"

        "I'm leaving today..."

        "Quiet, (Y/N)!"

"I want to be a part of it!"  You start to tickle him for the last lyrics, and he squirms all over.  "New York, New York!"

"Will you stop?!" Loki whines, scrunching up so as to reduce the ticklish sensation.  You laugh.

"Oh, so do this bother you?" You tickle him more by his neck, and he shrivels.

        "Yes!"

"What about this?"  You attack his side, and he spazzes.

"Stop!" he drags, trying not to chuckle but failing.

"This," you say, alternating where you tickled him.  "is what...happens...when you...disturb me...when I'm working!"  The sound of his laugh is music to your ears.  Your fingers move fast across his stomach, and Loki crouches into a fetal position.

"I can't take it!"  He grabs your pillow and starts whacking at you, but you don't let up.  As a final resort, he musters all the strength he has left and leaps up, running out your bedroom door and into your living room.  You chase after him, both of your circling around Thor.

        "Come back here!" you exclaim.

"No!"  Thor, not understanding, grabs a hold of Loki, locking him in his arms.  Loki groans.

        "Thor, you insolent oaf!"

"Brother, Lady (Y/N) asked you to halt."  With a mischievous grin, you walk up to the two of them.  Loki closes his eyes, bracing himself for a tickle attack of a lifetime, but you kiss his cheek.

"See?  That wasn't so hard, was it?"

"Does this mean we can go back to have tea?"  As Loki's face turns red, you giggle.

"That's what you were running from?  A tea party with your brother?!"

        "CAN IT, (Y/N)!"

"Would you like to join us, Lady (Y/N)?"  You wave your hands.

"I'll pass," you dismiss, but a smile comes to your face.  "But make sure this one here gets the full tea party experience."  You ruffle Loki's hair, and a bigger scowl comes onto his face.

"I hate you.  I hate you all."

"You don't hate Lady (Y/N), for you said--"  Loki covers Thor's mouth.  You raise an eyebrow.

        "He said what?"

"Nothing."  Loki redirects the subjects.  "We have tea to get to, so back to the drawing board."  You give a curious look before you walk away and enter back into your room.  As you close the door, you let blush come to your cheeks.

Maybe, just maybe, he likes me back too.
