A/N: So here's the fan art that I was emailed.  Apparently I'm a Lokitty xD  Thanks shadowhunter2929! xoxo

I have a surprise for you all at the end of this book.  (The reason why it took me 3 days since my note on my message board to update.)

Countdown for you guys begins now!

Q: What was your favorite imagine (thus far)?

****

Yes. Another perfect bulls-eye.

This was your moment you had been waiting for your entire life, to be among the great ranks of the warriors.  You had already demonstrated your abilities in combat and mental capacity. Archery was the final skill to show, as it was your specialty.  Complete silence filled the arena as the guards pulled up moving targets randomly, you needing to hit them as best you could.  So far, you had only missed one, but it was one of twenty, the rest either bulls-eyes or very close to them.  But now wasn't a time to get arrogant; five targets still remained.

Another target appeared, for you hear the guard behind you.  Spinning around, you grab your arrow from your quiver, aim, and shoot, hitting it right in the center from a hundred yards away.  Three more pop up at the same time behind you, all even farther away.  Taking three arrows on my bowstring, you launch them all at the same time, all hitting near the middle spot.

Just one more...

You hear something fly overhead, not from the ground, but in the air.  From the attendant standing on the side, moving his arms, you know that this is the last target.  Using all your arm power, you shoot your final arrow, and it hits, causing the object to explode into gold sparkles over the arena.  The crowd cheers, and the Allfather is clapping.  You had not just done well; you had excelled.

But within the crowd, among your friends, there was one person, who, although clapping, was rolling his eyes.  Loki.  Even the mention of his name could make your blood boil sometimes.  You still couldn't understand how you still put up with him; each and every day, he would degrade and belittle you.

But then again, you did know.  His mind, when not used to your detriment, was glorious, beyond anything you had ever seen. The way he outsmarted enemies with his holograms, the way he absorbed bookshelves of information at a time--it was unfathomable to you.  But the more you tried to understand, the more he would bar you from him.

You go up to your group, and immediately Sif buries you into a hug.

"I'm so proud of you!" she says, squeezing you even tighter.  You smile.  From the moment you first arrived, she had taken you under her wing, her protege.  Women were mocked for not being tough enough to handle the responsibility, and Sif was considered a rare exception.  With this feat, you helped her prove the point she had tried to make.

With mighty arms, Volstagg brings you both into a hug, lifting you from the ground and swinging you two like  a pendulum before setting you down.  "This is a wonderful day!"

"I quite agree," Hogun says.  You were about to get remarks from Thor when you hear the slow, apathetic applause of one.  You roll your eyes as you look over at the man of mischief.

"Congrats, you can shoot an arrow."

"Hey, she did more than that!" Sif snaps back.

"Oh please, the guys were just going easy on her.  I'd like to see her take on a real enemy."  You go for his throat, but Thor holds you back.

"Don't listen to him, (Y/N)."  The Warriors Three and Sif start to go off to celebrate, but Thor staggers behind with you, not walking as fast.

"I wanted to tell you how happy I was with your performance."  You smile.

"Thanks, Thor."  He laughs.

"I was not finished.  Instead of just mere congratulations, I desire to dine with you in the courtyards tomorrow evening.  Is that acceptable?"  You nod, and he smiles.  "Great!  I will see you there at noon."

"Noon."  While he goes off, you go back into the arena to retrieve your arrows.  It's only when you see his feet in front of you that you realize you weren't alone.

"Are you mad?!"  You look up at Loki, angry and confused.

"They're my arrows, and they're pretty good quality!"

"Not the arrows!  Lunch with my brother?!"

"Well at least he's being nice about my warrior test, unlike you!  And why does it even matter anyway?!  You hate me!"

"That's the opposite of how I feel!  You don't know how Thor is with girls!"  As he continues to rant, you have to backtrack on what he said.

"You like me?"  He stops his grandiose speech.

"I never said that."

"You said 'opposite,' and love is the opposite of hate."

"Not necessarily," he defends, but it's too late; his cheeks have already blushed.  You smile.

"I like you too, you big bully."  His eyes lit up when you place a kiss on his cheek.

And you would have dreamt more of your past if it weren't for your children shaking you to wake up.  You startle awake.

"Mommy," your firstborn of the twins says, "can we sleep with you and Daddy?"

"We keep having nightmares," the younger one says with a pout.  With a sleepy nod, you help them both up, they crawling in between you and your husband, who stirs, awakening.

"The elves are attacking," he comments playfully in a husky voice.  You smile as he turns to hug them.

"They are in search of the Aether of Pleasant Dreams."  Loki smiles, placing a kiss on your forehead as your children quickly fell back asleep.

"Well then, search on."
