Let's see if I can't finish up Book 1 this week.
Possibly this one will continue in the second TWH book. Let me know what you think!

You struggled against your chains as the guards led you down the stairs. The dungeon. It already reeked of sweat, grime, and body odor, the prisoners haven't not taken showers in days, months. They were rotting away, and this was the smell of their decomposition. Now Odin had sentenced you to the same fate.
"Ever think about lighting a candle down here?" you ask, scrunching up your noise. Still poised, the guards direct you to a cell on the left, letting down the energy barrier as they throw you in, the smell of sweet oil and fresh air hitting your nose. As you land on your hands, you look up, instantly recognizing your new cellmate as he catches the silver cup that he had tossed in the air. Your shackles disengage and you turn around to the guards.
"Oh that's smart. Let's put the two most dangerous and clever criminals in the same cell and see if they won't break out or see which one of them lives!" Ignoring you, the guards resume to their post.
You hear a chuckle come from behind you, the prince resuming his boring leisure. You glare at him.
"What are you laughing at?"
"You're a feisty one, aren't you?" You fold your arms.
"And I'm talking to the King of Stubbornness, what's your point?"
"My point is," he says, as he lets the cup in the air, "I enjoyed the banter." The cup lands in his fingers.
Rolling your eyes, you hop to your feet and look around the cell. Books, a table, some chairs, a shelf. You find a secret door in the corner, which opened to a bathroom, golden and complete with a bathtub and a shower. Was this a prison cell or an apartment?
If there was a hidden door for this, there might be another opening. Where would he get hot water for the tub? I'll have to find an opening.
As you scout out the cell, looking for any weak points, Loki observes you, he still continuing with his little game.
"What are you in here for?"
"Well not to take over Asgard and Midgard," you say, knocking on the walls, your ear against it. You see the prince sit up, studying your position.
"Do I at least get to know the name of my cellmate?"
"No. I don't plan on being here for long."
Loki scoffs. "Well if you're trying to bust out of here, I've already looked into it. There's no escape."
"Maybe you're just not as smart as I thought." He moves quick, for as soon as the last word rippled off your tongue, you were pressed against the wall, his hand at your throat.
"Don't you ever doubt my abilities again. You do not know me for what I am. Do I make myself clear?"
"Actually you make yourself blue," you say, putting your hand on his wrist, yanking it off and, after spinning around, bringing his hand to his back. Now it was your turn to whisper into his ear.
"I may be female, but I'm just as tough as just as smart and just as dangerous as you. Just as you desire for me not to underestimate you, Loki, you must not underestimate me. Do I make myself perfectly clear?"
He chuckles. "Sweetheart, you have my word."
You didn't want to trust him, but you had no choice. You let him go, and he smiles as he massages his wrist.
"Strong grip."
"I don't compromise my hold for anyone, especially Asgardian royalty." You go back to the walls, rapping against them.
"What exactly are you doing?"
"Listening for empty space." Just as you knock, you hear the echo, a hollow hole. "And there is it."
"If you want to get far," he says, folding his arms. "You're going to need my help."
"Fair enough," you say, putting out a knife from your shoe and working on scavenging parts from his hologram projector. But as your working, he grabs your wrist, forcing you to halt.
"If I'm going to assist you, I need to know your name, Sweetheart."
"(Y/N). And don't call me that."
"I'll call you whatever I like," he says with a smirk, throwing down your wrist. "You need me, and I need you so we can both get out of here. So Sweetheart, you might as well get used to me. It's not going to be easy."
I'll say.
