"Isn't that (Y/N)?"

"Wasn't she the girl who stood up Thor?"

"I hear Thor was rejected by her."

Those were the reactions that were being whispered around you as you entered into the school. Everywhere you turned, the halls got quiet, save the murmuring as you walked by. Pairs of eyes would stare, heads turn slowly as if you were a dead man walking.

"(Y/N)!" you heard your name being shouted. Finally, someone acting normal. You turn your head around to meet Fandral's voice, he surrounded by the rest of the Warriors.

"Where were you?" Sif asked aloud as you walked toward them.

 Well, close to normal.

"I didn't go." Loki gave a smirk that no one else but you saw.

"Well obviously," Hogun stated.

"I hope you have a good excuse," Volstagg said. You gave a look.

"Why?" As your answer, you hear more whispers and booming footsteps coming towards you. You didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.

"I waited," Thor hissed as he spun you to face him. "Do you know how embarrassing it was to show up without a date?"

"Yes, like it is that people are whispering and staring at me even though I'm standing right here?" Immediately, the talk stops, every ear listening.

"I gave you an opportunity to be glorious. What kind of foolish girl are you to deny me?"

"The same dignified girl who doesn't want to be your puppet or toy."

"Believe me, I'm better than some of the people you could associate yourself with." He looks around the Warriors, then back at the crowd in the hallway, then at you once more. "There's a monster in this school. You may not know it, but there is. Somehow, I'm protected, and I offered you the same before they turn on you."

"Is that why you're so popular? Because everyone's afraid?"

"No. Because I deserve to be." You feel yourself getting madder and madder as he turns to walk away.

"Overconfident much?" Fandral asks aloud, speaking your mind. Loki put his hand on your shoulder.

"You okay?" he asks quietly. "Did he hurt you?" You shake your head. "Good."

But in the middle of Mr. Elle's class, you get called down to the principal's. Loki and Hogun watch you leave, both knowing why you were seemingly in trouble.

As you enter the office, the secretary, without looking up from her computer screen, points you to the room you were expected in. With a gulp, you knock on the door. An older man with a golden eye-patch greets you.

"Miss (Y/L/N), I've been expecting you."

Of course you have, you idiot.

He leads you in his office and closes the door behind him. You sit across from his desk, folding your hands in your lap.

"Do you know why you are here?"

"No, Sir." He rubs his white beard.

"Do you know who I am?" You shake you head. "You've been here for four months, and you haven't the faintest idea who I am?"

"No, Principal." He sighs.

"So neither of my sons have mentioned me? Typical of the youngest one, but the oldest one, I'm quite surprised."
