1. What are the two specific descriptions of God's church in the last days?

"The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony." Revelation 12:17.

2. What is the testimony of Jesus?

"I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, 'Look! Don't do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.'" Revelation 19:10.

3. What will happen when the Spirit of God is poured in the last days?

"It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams."Acts 2:17.

4. How long will this spiritual gift continue in the church?

"For the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of theknowledge of the Son of God, to a fullgrown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:12, 13.

5. From what will this spiritual gift protect us?

"That we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error."Ephesians 4:14.

6. Were there prophets in the New Testament times?

Yes.

"Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers.." Acts 13:1.

"Now in these days, prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. One of them named Agabus stood up...." Acts 11:27.

7. Can God endow women with the spirit of prophecy?

MIRIAM: "Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances:' Exodus 15:20.

DEBORAH: "Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, judged Israel at that time:' Judges 4:4.

HULDA: "So Hilkiah, and they whom the king had commanded, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe ...:' 2 Chronicles 34:22.

ANNA: "There was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher...." Luke 2:36.

PHILIP'S FOUR DAUGHTERS: "We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist ... had four virgin daughters who prophesied:' Acts 21:9.

8. What does the Bible teach us regarding the accuracy of a true prophet?

"When the word of the prophet happens, then the prophet will be known, that Yahweh has truly sent him." Jeremiah 28:9.

9. What shall we do if a prophet's word comes to pass but leads away the people from the truths of Scripture?

"If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to -pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, 'Let's go after other gods' (which you have not known) 'and let's serve them; you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams.... You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him." Deuteronomy 13:1-4.

10. What should be the belief of a prophet regarding Jesus?

"By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God." 1 John 4:2.

11. How do the prophets regard the law of God?

"Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them." Isaiah 8:20.

12. How does the Bible describe the prophet while in vision?

"For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me." Daniel 10:17.

13. How did Jesus distinguish the true from the counterfeit gifts of prophecy?

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.... Therefore by their fruits you will know them." Matthew 7:15-17, 20.

14. Where can we find the genuine gift of prophecy today?

"God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages." 1 Corinthians 12:28.

15. Why did God give us the gift of prophecy?

"Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7.

"By a prophet Yahweh brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved." Hosea 12:13.

"Listen to me, Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in Yahweh your God, so you will be established! Believe his prophets, so you will prosper." 2 Chronicles 20:20.
