"I'm gonna kill him." Jess muttered under his breathe.

"Jess, he was probably just fooling around or something." Camille suggested. "I've spoken to him like twice."

"No, he was messing with me." Jess disagreed.

"I don't-." Camille started.

"He was messing with me and it's the last time, I swear to God." Jess told her.

"Jess, calm down." Camille instructed him.

"Why would he do this?" the boy questioned.

"Maybe he was hungry." Camille answered.

"He's trying to make me crazy." Jess concluded.

"Just don't let him." Camille put her hand on her boyfriend's cheek.

"shall we?" Chuck Presby walked up to them.

"Shall we what?" Jess asked.

"Shall we go?" Chuck inquired.

"Go where?" Jess questioned.

"Go eat." Chuck stated. "The person who buys the basket wins the company of the person who makes the basket for lunch.Basket, basket maker, guy who didn't bring enough money."

"You think this is funny." Jess stepped forward.

"Well it has its moments." Chuck smirked.

"Bye Chuck." Jess spat.

"Where you going?" Chuck asked.

"You're the one who's going." Jess told him.

"Oh, as soon as Camille is ready."

"She's not going with you."

"Really, is that true?"

"Yes, it's true."

"Excuse me Edgar Bergen, I think I'd like Charlie McCarthy to answer now."

"Shut up."

"Jess." Camille mumbled.

"What?" Jess asked.

"Well..." She started.

"Oh, come on." Jess groaned.

"It's tradition." Camille shrugged.

"Don't go." Jess begged her.

"Oh geez man, she's not shipping off to 'Nam." Chuck joked.

"You SO need to shut up now." Jess raised his voice at Chuck.

"Look, Jess, it's a picnic, it's lunch. We'll sit, we'll eat, it's over." Camille ran through what would happen.

"That was the worst date I've ever been on." Camille complained as she sat down at an empty table in Luke's.

It was Friday evening so Lorelai and Rory were at Emily and Richard's. After the date with Chuck, Camille went to the Ballet studio to practice.

"All we did was argue and I'm so glad that I never have to do that again, next year I am not taking part." Camille ranted.

"What do you want to order?" Jess mumbled.

"salad with a milkshake please." Camille requested.

"i'll be back with your food." Jess began to walk away.

"are you mad at me for going on the date with Chuck?" she asked him.

"what do you think?" Jess questioned.

"he paid ninety dollars for it." Camille pointed out. "I just not go and it was horrible anyway so you have nothing to worry about."

"i'm not worried about anything." Jess told her. "it's just when you have a boyfriend, you don't put a date up for auction and expect that your boyfriend will win."

"I don't know what you want me to do Jess, it's finished, over." Camille argued. "i'm not going on another date with Chuck so there's nothing to be mad about."

"I asked you not to go but you still went Camille. when you're in a relationship, you listen to each other but you didn't." Jess turned his back on her
