"I haven't even heard of half these bands." Jess flicked through the records.

After the crash, Jess went back to New York. Now Camille was visiting him instead of being at school.

"I love that about this place." Camille marvelled. "God, Lane would wanna live here."

"who's Slim?" Jess questioned.

"I don't know." Camille answered.

"grunge band out of Kentucky. two albums, plus a double-A side single, disbanded in '94." a man informed them.

"thanks." Jess mumbled.

Camille came across a record for the Go-go's. It was Lorelai's favourite band.

"this was Lorelai's favorite group when she was my age, and it's signed by Belinda." the blonde awed.  "this would be the perfect graduation present. I've been looking for something all week long, and I couldn't find anything and now I have Belinda."

"graduation?" Jess inquired.

"oh, from college, from business classes." Camille had forgotten to tell Jess about Lorelai's business classes.

"i'm surprised she has time for anything except lighting darts on fire and throwing them at my picture." the boy joked.

"well, it's not a lot of time, but-." Camille started.

"uh-huh." Jess nodded. "go on, get it. she'll like it."

"thank you so much for bringing me here." Camille grinned. "this was fate."

"yes, it was." Jess agreed.

"I think this one's mine." Camille announced when she saw a bus coming.

"yup, the sign says Boonesville." Jess nodded.

"excuse me, I'm so sorry to bother you. Which way is 44th?" A tourist asked Camille.

"oh, um, that way." the girl pointed him in the direction and he walked away.  "I got asked directions."

"I saw." Jess smiled.

Jess then told her that she pointed him in the wrong direction.

"well, I should go." Camille told her boyfriend.

"okay." Jess mumbled.

"I gotta go to my mum's graduation." she informed him.

"and give her Belinda." Jess added.

"and give her Belinda." she repeated.

"go on. I'll check on the guy, I'll make sure he's not wandering around looking for 44." Jess reassured her.

Camille got on the bus and stared at Jess through the window.

"why did you come here?" Jess questioned.

Camille opened the window.

"what?" she asked.

"I said, why did you come here?" Jess inquired. "I mean, you ditched school and Ballet. that's so not you. why'd you do it?"

"because you didn't say goodbye." Camille admitted. "and I'm your girlfriend so I thought that you should have at least said goodbye."

"oh. Bye, Camille." Jess waved her off.

"bye, Jess." Camille smiled.
