"here." Jess threw a cd at Camille.

"The Shaggs?" Camille asked.

"trust me" Jess told her.

"okay. so you're very punctual." Camille pointed out.

"yeah, well, it was this or continue apartment hunting with Luke." the boy shrugged.

"you're moving?" the blonde questioned.

"I don't know. Luke flipped out last night and next thing I know, he's dragging me all over town banging on pipes and measuring square footage. it's crazy." Jess explained.

"a new place might be nice. more space, maybe you'll get your own room." Camille half smiled.

"you change your hair?" Jess inquired.

"what?" Camille asked.

"your hair looks different." he looked at her hair closer.

"so, segue's not your thing, huh?" Camille joked.

"is it?" Jess pointed to her  hair.

"I just umm, trimmed the ends." Camille shrugged. "why?"

"just looks different." the boy replied.

"like a bad different or-." Camille started.

"hey, ducks." Lorelai exclaimed.

"Wejust got a new alarm clock." Rory explained as she stood next to Camille.

"huh. bet I know what the lead story in the Stars Hollow Gazette's gonna be tomorrow." Jess joked.

"Hey, did you hear the ducks 'cause they're great." Lorelai walked up to the two girls. "Oh Jess, you're here, terrific."

"so, um, would you like to come in?" Camille asked.

"Oh, yeah, come on in. Sorry." Lorelai apologised. "It's just. . .so excited about the ducks that, uh. . .do you want something to drink? You have good timing 'cause we shopped yesterday, and in addition to a case of Maybelline Fresh Lash Mascara, I also bought some of that new, uh, freaky Coke with the lemon in it. It's very addictive."

"you can sit, you know." Camille offered.

"no thanks." he declined.

"So, Jess, what's new?" Lorelai questioned.

"not much." Jess answered.

"Jess and Luke are looking for an apartment." Camille informed Lorelai.

"Oh, you guys see anything good yet?" The woman asked.

"nope." the boy replied.

" Well, you know, there's some really cool places over on Peach. Or on Plum. Hm, Orange." Lorelai started listing fruits. "Basically, any of your fruit named streets are pretty nice. Okay, well, I guess you should get started. Um, there's a ladder right out front and some buckets and gloves and stuff on the porch. You need anything else, just walk against the wind."

"come on, I'll show you." Camille insisted.

"I'm trying." Lorelai sighed.

"Well, keep it up." Rory told her.

"how are you?" Jess asked as he got everything ready.

"i'm not going to lie to you, the break up impacted me a lot." Camille admitted. "what about you? have you read the notes I wrote?"

"I have actually." Jess chuckled. "you seem to have an opinion about the book."

"yes I do." Camille agreed.

"i've missed you." Jess confessed.

"i've missed you too." Camille whispered. "but I don't want to argue with you again."

"I over reacted." Jess told her. "i'm sorry.

"i'm sorry too." Camille apologised.

"so do you want to date me again?" Jess asked her.

Camille pressed a kiss to his lips.

"does that answer your question?" she inquired.

"yes it does." Jess smirked before kissing her again.

"you better get to work." Camille pulled away. "i'll go inside so I don't distract you."

"that might be best." Jess smiled.
