Chapter 15

Aleem POV

As her fingers slipped from my hand Darius and me grabs her arm with both of our arms this time. We smiled at each other happy we had grabbed them firmly. But then a pteradon came out of no where and tried to grab my sister and Ben. Cause of the swift movement Darius and me accidently let go but I managed to grab her hand again with my hand. I'm not letting them fall on my watch. As I struggled to lift them up with Darius help, the worse thing imaginable happened.

As the other were coming back from distracting, Y/N hand slipped out of my hand. Y/N and Ben screamed as they fell into the deep forest. I could see the fear in their faces as they fell in all of the greens. I screamed bloody murder and reached my arm out as if I could get them back. Everyone gasped as pteradons screeched and swooped down in their direction, doing no good for what happened. My throat started to feel dry as I stopped screaming. As the screams stopped, tears started to flow rapidly down my face. I see Bumpy come to my side a make a sad noise looking out of the shattered glass. As the tears fell I watched how the ground moved, silently.

3rd POV

"Their gone, their..... gone" said Yasmina hesitantly. "I won't believe it!" Sammy shouted. She started to run but Yasmina stopped her. Tears flowed down Sammy's face as tears formed in Yasmina eyes but didn't fall. Sammy sobbed and Aleem looked at his hand making them into a fist, and Darius looked at both of his hands. As he looked up her noticed something, and shouted "We're going back! The monorail is going back!" They all fell as the monorail turned fastly.

"What do you mean 'going back'?" Asked Brooklyn. "When we switched tracks, we ended up one headed north. We're not going towards the south docks, we are going away from it!" He went to the controls, pushing buttons and pulling levers. Darius slammed his fists onto the controls and angrily said "Doesn't anything here work?!" He went to said to the others "We have to get off this monorail now!" Brooklyn goes to look outside and points out, "Oh! T-the tracks dips down up ahead! We can jump there!"

The other campers except Aleem start question about jumping off moving transportation. Aleem is to busy grabbing a small backpack and a fannypack. As the monorail approached the dip everyone got ready. Darius was counting down as Aleem put on the backpack and fannypack and Kenji grabbed onto Bumpy. As Darius got to three they all jumped and screamed. They fell through the vegitation, hit the ground and rolled. In the process Kenji lost hold of Bumpy.

Darius and Brooklyn hit one tree, while Kenji and Aleem with another tree, then Sammy and Yasmina. Darius got up and asked "Is everyone alright?" Brooklyn answered with "Ish' are you?" "Bumpy, where'e Bumpy? I lost her when I hit the ground, she has to be here. Bumpy? Bumpy!" Kenji said. Brooklyn shushes him and tell him there are still dinosaurs around, but he still shouts out Bumpy. "We gotta look for her, don't we? And Y/N and Ben! They might still be-" Sammy got cut off by Yasmina. "How? We don't even know where they are!", then she falls.

Then a male voice was heard from a distance, "Attention. All park-goers must report to the south ferry dock for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in 60 minutes." Yasmina responds to what she heard, "No chance we could get there in an hour! It's way too far!" Then a whole argument followed.

Brooklyn: Not if we leave right now!

Sammy: But Bumpy, Y/N, and Ben...!

Aleem: We need to find them!

Brooklyn: We can't go back for them!

Brooklyn: Their....... gone.

Aleem: HOW DO YOU KNOW!

After Aleem shouted, it got quiet as he started to speak or rant. "How can you say their gone, thats just an inference not confirmed. Y/N is my family and Ben my friend and you want to leave them to possibly die if we don't go looking for them HUH! DON'T YOU CARRY ABOUT HOW SOME OF US ARE FEELING RIGHT NOW HUH!" He stopped and breathed fast and deep as tears visibly fell down his face. It was silent until Darius spoke, "Sorry but there just not enough time to look for...... We can make it to the ferey, but only if we go now."

Aleem didn't speak he just pulled the strapps of the backpack a d looks at the fannypack he had buckled on. "We have to go!" Darius ran after saying that. Everyone ran except Kenji and Aleem, Kenji looked at him then ran. Aleem saw them run and with not other options he ran to catch up to them. After some running he caught up with them and pass Yasmina who seem to be having somw trouble. Yasmina fats amd Samyy calls after her, Aleem looks back to see her but keeps running.

But the guys stopped when Brooklyn shouted. Sammy asked Yasmina if she was alright but got cut of with her saying 'I'm fine'. She get up but falls again, Sammy responds to that action "She can't keep up like this. What do we do?" "We can't stop, so, we'll make a stretcher, maybe? Or maybe there is a shortcut or...... the tunnels! Kenji!" Darius said. Kenji doesn't react as he stares at Aleem who had taken of the backpack and is stari g at ot not saying a word. Darius shakes Kenji out of his trance and asks him about the tunnels.

~Skip to finding hatch to tunnel~

The hatch opened and they started to climb down. "This will get us to the dock in half the time." Kenji confidently said. As they ran Brooklyn questioned if Kenji knew what he was doing. But then they ran into gates. Kenji starts running another way, then runs back and goes another. They followed him as he got to another gate. He starts saying the gates were there before and Yasmina asks why there are so many. He takes them another way but obviously runs into another gate.

He tries to open a locked door, and Brooklyn finds a taser rod. Before she could say what they could use it for he grabs it and tries to ram into the door, but Aleem grabs the rod out of his hands before he could. "You do know it's dangerous using electricity with metal, right?!" Aleem asked confused because that could have harmed someone. Brooklyn take the stick from Aleem and suggests to use it as a walking stick.

Kenji bangs the gate with hsi fists as the male voice comes on, "Attention. All park-goers must report to the south ferry dock for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in 30 minutes." "Not helping!" Kenji yelled. Then a snarl was heard, and everyone looked to see where it came from. The red lights flickered as more snarling was hear and a shadow of a dinosaur was seen. Yasmina fell and dropped the taser rod and Kenji picked it up and held it foward in an attack stance. Then the creature came out revealing it was.......
