Chapter 12

Y/N POV

We started to paddle the kayaks forwards, then I hear the automated voice say "Ladies and Gentlemen, we would like to thank you all for your patience." We paddled along the in this cave like structure. Well I was the one paddling in the kayak we're sharing. Ben is busy with Bumpy, very cute stuff, just holding her. Ben, Bumpy and me are in the lead right now, then come Aleem and Yasmina, Kenji and Brooklyn, last but not least Darius and Sammy.

Then I hear Yasmina say "Hey watch it!" I look behind and see that the CKK had hit the kayak she is in. Kenji responds "CKK the right of the way, sorry don't make the rules" I rolled my eyes and made the kayak I was maneuvering got to the left to let them through and not get hit. The CKK pass us and Kenji says "Why thank you dear dino parents" I blush at this, that's how they see us now?

I looked ahead and saw that the cave was getting bigger and seem to get brighter up ahead. "Hey the cave is getting bigger, and brighter?" said Brooklyn. Wow totally not obvious, whatever. We enter and I gasp at the beauty of this place wish I had my phone to take pics. There was a waterfall the was glowing and glowing rock in the ceiling giving of a soft soothing beautiful glow. The noise of the water was soothing also not loud but soft and melodic.

I'm pretty sure everyone was in awe at the sight. As we passed I waterfall I made the back of the kayak go left to get closer to the waterfall. I extended my left hand into it letting the water splash and fall off of it. I didn't know but my brother was behind me, smiling that I was happy for a little in this situation. After passing it I hear Kenji say "With all the glowy stuff it's still dark." I looked at him and saw he had sunglasses on, I roll my eyes again.

3rd POV

Brooklyn got up and snatched Kenji's sunglasses letting him see better but he snatched them back and put them back on. "I could have used the flashlight in my phone if Sammy had not broken it. We wouldn't be here at all if we had my phone" said Brooklyn. Kenji said after that "Hey would you stop ruining the mood of the CKK?" "And how many times will you say that?" asked Brooklyn annoyed.

"CKK. Why? You'll like me to stop saying CKK? CKK CKK CKK" he continued repeating it. Brooklyn sighed and then said "Stop acting like it doesn't affect you too. We are here because of her." Then Kenji decided to speak "Or hear me out maybe something else would have happened instead and we would still be stuck here. Look I- I know you are mad at Sammy but getting mad won't get us out of here. Just makes people more mad, you know? Put yourself in here shoes, at this point is there anything you could say that would make Sammy feel worse then she already does?"

(Kenji speak the truth tho and what would have happened if Y/N and Aleem didn't go?)

Brooklyn went silent not knowing what to say after what he said to her. "Take it from someone who has sufficient experience in rubbing people the wrong way" Kenji spoke. Brooklyn looks back at Sammy.

Y/N POV

I could hear that Brooklyn and Kenji were talking but I decided not to eavesdrop on them and then I hear the Sammy and Darius start talking being me I also didn't eavesdrop on them. I look to see Ben still not really paddling with Bumpy. Even though I tried to not hear the conversation I hear that Sammy went to spy on her own according and her family didn't send her. Wow she wanted to say her family, I can't blame her.

I then hear Yasmina speak to my big bro in a not-so-friendly tone of voice. "Aleem would you please stop looking around and start paddling?" Then Aleem voiced his thoughts a bit aggressively "Can't someone watch this beauty in peace?" I sighed at them they seemed so together and now they seem to be distance talking against each other. The I hear Ben's voice "I think Bumpy is seasick." Well yeah her species isn't meant for water traveling. Then I hear "We both should prepare ourselves for dino-vomit!" This surprised me fore sure, I looked around and saw something I didn't know I would see.
