This would be his second Valentine's Day with the crew, at the cafe shop. As his workmates gas him up with unbeatable expectations about how lively the place becomes around both holidays, Todoroki can barely hold himself in place with excitement.

The small, homey cafe becomes jam-packed on Christmas eve, exceeding their guest limit well just within the first hour of being open. With an out-of-character but genuine smile, he and his counter partner continue to send out orders to eager but slightly overworked staff, all while he quickly gained himself "fans"...

The cafe earns a new reputation, thanks to his accidental doing. Great coffee, a homey atmosphere, and cute-looking, flirty, sweet staff whose smiles always add that extra drop of sugar to their order... it's wildly effective, once they look at their returning customers rate. The day that Todoroki winked at a customer, their customer population took a launch towards an overwhelming amount of women dropping by their cafe on a daily. 

The wink was never achieved by any other customer, however, no matter how much people tried. Todoroki became aware of the odd challenge that he had lit up amongst their customers by the time that Valentine's day peeked around the corner... and after a late-night kitchen chat with his co-workers, they had the "hilariously genius" idea to bring up Todoroki's "highly effective" grins and winks as a Valentine's Day exclusive. With the others hopping into the one-day trend, their balance that day was colossally successful. 

Todoroki's ways with the customers were not the reason why his reputation skyrocketed amongst the workers. His personality shines significantly brighter whenever a specific worker is by his side, one who he has known since his high school days. Kaminari.

With the hardships of adapting to a new environment, he and Todoroki have surely gotten closer within the few months of their reunion. It was mildly by chance; Todoroki coincidentally stumbled upon Ashido just outside of a supermarket where he had failed an interview for, and the lady had recommended him the cafe due to its facility of being hired, and its "good vibes". He had a few thoughts of what he was getting himself into the moment that she had claimed that the cafe's manager was a goofy old high school classmate of theirs...

He was hired on the spot and was given his apron as if it were the crown by the manager himself. With a slap on the back, Todoroki was put right behind the counter of Cohii Coffee, that sweet little urban cafe down fourteen twenty-five street.

Kaminari is an all-around friend with no favorites in that cafe-- but with Todoroki around, the employees made a safe assumption that the manager had his "employee of the century".
And Todoroki no longer frowns whenever Kaminari throws an arm over his shoulders, tugs him in only to shove a finger at his chest, and claim "this guy, right here, is my best friend!". He agrees with it.

Sunlight floods into the room with the sound of rustic-grey door blinds being drawn. The man's smile beams just as bright as that rich golden light now packing inside the homey cafe as he turns towards the one standing just a few feet from him.

"Ready for lover's day at the cafe, mister flirt?" He asks, wiggling his brows and shoulders altogether.
"Kai and I have a competition at hand here... I am certain, I'll get more customers than him." He claims with humble confidence. 
"Chill ooouut, this isn't some shady fifty-per-hour pleasure shop," the man cackles. "But yeah sure, as long as you don't start anything with the customers,"
"You should tell that to Kai."
