Another trip to the doctor?
Another fucking disappointment.
To hear that there's nothing that can be done about it just fucking upsets me.
To hear...
Won't be long, apparently.

I'm losing my hearing.
And like my parents said, it's just fucking sad to know that they "expected" it. The old hag says it's why she forced me to learn sign language at a young age.
The fact that there's nothing they can do bothers me.
Angers me.
Upsets me.
Saddens me.
Scares me.

Not long after that doctor's visit, Katsuki awakens to tears.
He tries anything to convince himself it didn't happen that fast-
But nothing worked.
He's woken up with his hearing completely gone.
He tried everything... he coughed, and only felt it, he threw things.. he didn't hear them falling or hitting anything... he can't hear his own voice.
He looks at the clock... and much to his luck, he's woken up early.
He has a breakdown, basically...
He's going to school, deaf, and no one knows of his case except for his parents so far. And that won't help him at the moment.
He's never felt this scared and hesitant before...

Anytime the class moved, Katsuki's heart would race, he would feel lost again. It didn't help that he sat at the front of the class... he could pick up on a few things that Aizawa said to the class, as he could read his lips-
But his desperation would increase just a little more whenever the man turned his back to the class, to either write something on the board or to motion towards something on the board.
He tries to copy those around him, and tries to hide it by staring at the reflection on the window beside him.
Whenever they took out notebooks, he'd do the same. Whenever they took out textbooks, he'd do the same.
But after that, he'd just pretend. Pretend to write down anything until the class moved again.
He then feels a vibration on the ground.
It startles him... which only hid the fact that he was deaf more to any who suspected anything-
Lunch time.
He can't wait until the day's over...

The class brushes his behavior off as just another one of Katsuki's bad days.
The "ignoring", the random staring, the upset expression...
Izuku, Eijiro, and Shoto were the ones to notice more.
Especially during partner work... Eijiro knew something was wrong when he moved over to him.
