Time can change the way someone feels towards another...

Sometimes people grow tired of one another... sometimes people grow into someone more.
Or, sometimes, a rivalry can either increase or fall... or simply stay the same.

Their parents always questioned it, how their sons were able to feel so much hate at such a young age of ten and eleven.
Their little boys, Katsuki and Hanta, despised one another. And, neither couple knew why.

Teachers of daycares have said that Katsuki always gained all the attention, and that Hanta disliked it. 
They brushed it off as jealousy... but despite telling their little boys that jealousy isn't a good trait to have, their hate remained.

Truth is, the hate is onesided.
The little blonde truly didn't know how to deal with the interest he felt. 
He was taught in a rather harsh way... and wrong behavior wasn't corrected, it was punished.

So, his little lost self always felt confused and hurt whenever little Hanta pushed him away and called him mean things... 

Years pass of the same behavior... the more their "hate" grew, the more their parents kept them away from one another.
During their middle school years, they parted ways. 
And, they never forget one another...

Hanta's excitement was indescribable up until the moment he walked into class.
The moment his eyes fell on him, his excitement was cut short.

And of course, the first day is ruined by each other's fighting.

And Katsuki felt joy again... one that brought him back to his childhood memories.
Not a joy for the arguing, of course... but, a joy of seeing that cute, angered expression of Hanta's... he likes how Hanta hasn't changed one bit... he likes how his memories have preserved his image so clearly and accurately...

The arguments grow worse as days turn into weeks... 

And, labels are swiftly earned once again.

Katsuki is the untouchable one... the popular guy everyone watches out for.
Katsuki's still the same kid Hanta always disliked in the playground... the one who was always "mean to him", who always hurt him.

And the arguments and the fighting increased because of it. 
It becomes tiring to others, even, hearing their bickering... their on-growing rivalry...
Their one-sided on-growing rivalry...

While Katsuki secretly has a blast...
Sadly, he does it more for the interactions.

Interacting with Hanta is something he's always wanted to do. Yet, unfortunately, he's never learned how to do that.
Again, it was never a matter of correction... it was a matter of punishment.
