The two are still crazed over the fact that they haven't realized it until now. Only three months after getting closer, and four more of being in a poly relationship, they've come to notice a bizarre trait of Denki's. And my god, will Katsuki never forget the scare he received moments before he found out.

He'd agreed on sharing a bed with Denki for a night after he'd complained of "feeling left out", after Denki had spent a night at Eijiro's.

And in the middle of the night, Katsuki awakens to a strange feeling of being watched. His eyes open, and immediately, his heart dropped.

Denki sat in front of him, and... "stared" at him. His eyes are closed, but he's there, his face turned down to look at Katsuki, lips agape from gravity tugging his bottom lip down, and his hair a mess from having slept up until however long.

Katsuki jumped, startled, and now annoyed from feeling startled, and sat up as well. Denki doesn't move.

"Denki what the hell-" he scorned immediately.

After seconds of realizing Denki hadn't moved, he leans over to check on him.

"Hey," he called again, "what are you doing... s'fuckin' late..."

As his heart slows down from racing after the startle, he calms down... he puts a gentle hand on Denki's upper back,

But Denki jumps, gasping suddenly and swinging a fast fist towards whoever had touched him's direction.

Katsuki, despite being sleepy, still, is faster. He grabs his fist, inches before it touched his face, eyes widened at Denki as he seriously questioned why Denki had just done what.

"K-...atsuki-...?" Denki whispered, "sh-..shit-- where-...?" he mumbled.
"You're in my fucking dorm," he snapped quietly, "the fuck is this for, huh? You're gonna punch your fucking boyfriend?"

Denki looks confused.

"I... what? I wouldn't...-?"

Katsuki let go of his fist, his head shook lightly in the pure confusion and stress he suddenly felt.

"The fuck were you staring at me for?"
"What-? Katsuki, I've been sleeping...-" Denki responded, confused still, "when'd you wake up-?"

Katsuki decides to just put him to bed again... and to fall asleep as well, considering the late time and how tired the two clearly are.

But he's still confused.

'Was he sleeping? And staring at me?'

Denki apparently didn't remember what happened that previous night. And the conclusion wasn't made on the lack of bringing the little hap up the next morning to any of them, it was how Denki denied it when Katsuki asked him about it.

Eijiro was startled to hear Denki had tried to punch Katsuki, and out of context, thought the two had gotten into a fight.
