Each day is another day of unchanged, if not, increased, sorrow.

The guilt of those who had put in the utmost effort of attempting to rescue their endangered friend increased ever since they'd returned with empty arms and bad news...

Their plan, even though it was thought of to be fool-proof, had failed right at the moment the leader of the league realized that their hostage had chasers on his tail.
Katsuki was taken to a different hiding spot as others fought off the group, and pro-heroes... leaving him to be unheard of and unseen for the ten months that lead them to this day.

The stress never faded, and it was clear to all accountable adults who'd picked up on the tension in the air.

U.A was put on lockdown for about a month after the kidnapping, as teachers and staff, along with those important to U.A's facility discussed better ways to improve the safety of their equally-valued students. Meanwhile, students who were granted access to dorms were sent home.

They had been getting emails and calls of worried parents, claiming their child(ren) had been showing extreme signs of worry and concern and/or sorrow, to which lead the teachers to their conclusion;

A field trip.
Unspoken about, and only amongst parents and students involved... no media, no nothing. A safe and organized field trip for students to let loose and relax with friends. The beach seemed like a reasonable choice.

Upon meeting one another again, smiles were meek and topics seemed to always stray back to either each other's wellbeing or Katsuki. Everything was eery about the case... nothing about the fact that a student so popular had just disappeared without another trace sat right with them.

Up until the base Izuku, Momo, Shoto, Tenya and Eijiro had infiltrated, signs of Katsuki's presence were no longer found. It upset them extremely... not only were they extremely concerned about Katsuki, they were also heavily aware of what they'd done.

Where the police forces once had their eyes out for, the place that they'd pinpointed to be the hotspot for the league of villains, has now been abandoned. They've lost track of the still-active league, leading to another potential two months of research and tracking.

The group involved feels response... terribly responsible...

It pained the teachers once they realized the volume of the group was kept the same; quiet. Even outside, in a beach, in an open area, they kept relatively quiet... they stayed calm, but in a spiritless way.

Only towards the middle of the day was when the class-clowns slowly started to beam up. A few jokes were cracked up here and there, and eventually, usual beach activities ensued.

The beach has a long walkway not too far from their viewpoint, lined with tourist-luring stores and cold-treats stands. Students wandered around freely, on the condition of having those in charge aware of their destinations or whereabouts.

Shoto, Denki, Eijiro, Hanta, and Izuku decided it would be nice to cool off with some snowcones. A little before Katsuki's kidnapping and disappearance, they've been getting a bot closer...
Shoto and Denki have been getting closer.
