After returning from a family union, King Katsuki's been stressed lately.
Being reminded so many times that he can't rule an entire kingdom by himself does weigh on him. And at this point it isn't even for the kingdom's sake anymore... he truly hasn't found someone 'worthy' enough.
King Katsuki's been given notice that another group of bandits had been on the act again... Except, they'd been caught amidst a murderous plan.
His kingdom has been having trouble with groups of the sort... being a more currency-consuming/making kingdom, bandits and hitmen are rising in numbers... despite anything the king does.
It does... only prove his family just a bit more... that ruling an entire kingdom by himself isn't going too good.
It strikes fury in him... to see his kingdom be attacked the way it's being.
He's introduced to the captured group, all handcuffed and on their knees as he remained sat lazily on his throne.
It's a group of four men, of which the guards list their names to be;
Yoarashi Inasa
Shoto Todoroki
Neito Monoma
And "Dabi".
The king's eyes squinted at the so-called "Dabi", he chin-points towards the kneeling man with a disgusted face.
"First and last name."
"It's... 'Dabi', your majesty-" the guard responded.
"Sure as hell ain't."
One begins to grimace, as one of the guards had their boot heel digging into his spine. Whenever he squirmed, the guard would only stomp down harder.
At one point, while the king and the guard shared their back and forth about the unknown criminal's name, the pain shot through his body like the hottest source of fire... he felt his limbs tingle with numbness for that second. He cried out, loud and infuriated, not only interrupting the king, but echoing in the throne room.
"Hush!" The guard spat, kicking him down at last. The king only stared,
If it were anyone else, he would have immediately thrown him at stake... executed him solely for interrupting him-
Especially nowadays... that his temper is thin and short.
But something about the one in pain, who's been kicked down... he's interested.
"Did you just pass an order in my presence?" The king's voice is dangerously low... dangerously calm.. his eyes shit daggers through the guard. "What's the fuss about." He demanded.
Silence.
"SPEAK, DAMN IT, I ASKED WHAT THE FUSS IS ABOUT!"
The guard grabbed a fistful of the dual-colored hair and rose him up, only gaining more cries and choked out, pained shouts from the one who's getting the most attention.
"Ignore your majesty's words once more and I'll be cutting your head off." The king growled.
"YOUR SHITTY GUARD IS STOMPING A HOLE THROUGH MY BACK."
The tension in that room is dangerous... they heard the other three swallow thickly at the outburst, they all feared their lives right at that moment.
