"You wanted to see me, boss?"

The man greets him with a large smile, his posture is comfortable on the cushioned office chair.

"Sit down, detective!"
They smile at the label, the redhead is pleased to find the harmony of the room being light and easygoing.

His boss is an understanding man, who praises any time he finds fit. For a man in charge of a large group of serious-working detectives, he's a chipper man.

"How is everything, Kirishima?"
"Greatly, sir! I hope everything's the same for you?"
"Very much so, actually," he responds. He picks up a pen and leans forward, to sit properly on his leather chair. He opens a file and flips a few loose papers before holding the pen up to the paper.

"It's come to my attention that one of my hard workers has gotten through five cases in two weeks..." he began, "two of which have been extremely infuriating and tough to figure out," he added.

The detective owns a proud smile. His hands are neatly placed on his lap, yet his fingers dig down in excitement.

"Yes sir!"

The man leans back in his chair again. He looks impressed, and pleased.

"My word, you never fail to impress me, young man!"
"Ah," he exhales in a flattered chuckle, "s'just my job, boss... I like what I do-!"
"Right! Which is what I've brought you in here, today..."

Eijiro feels his throat close up. That sentence can be so nerve-inducing.

"You know... good men deserve breaks, great workers deserve some time for themselves," the boss began again.

The detective exhales a pent up breath of relieve.

"You've been checking in to work for a straight five months. Yes, each day you've done an outstanding job," he stated, "I've gathered a few things, of your files and work, and been looking into what I've said about raising pay for the top class workers,"

The place in which Eijiro works has different categories.
Eijiro works in the top class; detectives that work in seeking out dangerous gangs. They work with the FBI often.
The police detectives, evidence technicians, victim advocates, and so forth. Eijiro's place in the detective industry is a new addition to the job world, after the FBI and police stations had been found struggling to seek out the newest gangs.

"I'll be raising pay this weekend," he shares, "but I'll also be taking your check-in card for three days to a week."

Eijiro's heart stopped.

"O-Oh."
"Because I want you, young man, to have a good break..." his smile returns.

He feels his body almost levitate with relief.

"Seriously-?" Eijiro smiled, "I,- I can keep working, boss- Really, if the cases need more search-through,-"
"Kirishima you've searched through all the cases already," the man chuckled, "there's not much else to work on, at least for a while. Which, again, is outstanding. For the thirty years, I've worked as headmaster, I've never seen the agency so calm like it is." He claimed, "I want you to have a little break, to have time for yourself, maybe your family, friends... relax a bit, we got it from here."
