Eijiro is a sweet guy, most usually. He can be responsible, most usually. And he's helpful, mostly always.

And, he tries to be those things towards his omega.
But, ever since his omega has gotten pregnant, things have been getting a bit rough.

And he hates it, he truly does... arguing with his mate always hurts him. The bigger the arguments, the more hurt they become.

Eijiro is a busy guy... his agency is always demanding his presence at work. Izuku used to be the same, although, after his third month of pregnancy, he was sent home to take care of himself and keep the pregnancy safe and healthy, to prevent getting hurt during missions.

Eijiro has also gotten his schedule a bit looser in order to be of service for his mate as well.
But, he still has work. He still has school.

Besides. They're between 24-year-olds, trying to balance their lives between work and a relationship... and now, a pregnancy too.

Stress doesn't do any good for Izuku. And if his mood is sour, Eijiro gets the bad end of it.
He knows Izuku can't help it, the snappy comebacks, the whining, the saltiness... but, still, his patience can only take so much.

Their friends know about their fights... hearing the two argue makes the environment a bit heavy sometimes.
Eijiro always leaves after the arguments. He's talked to others before after having them try and "correct his behavior", saying;

"I want to give him, and me, a break. If I stay in the room after an argument, it'll continue. I know him better than you do, he's my mate."

He's definitely gotten a bit sourer...
But, they know it's normal. He's an alpha, who's omega is pregnant... instincts are bound to come loose.

"Honey, there's not much I can do." He sighed.

Izuku only stared.

"What have I done to you-" he suddenly snaps, "I just woke up, what's the attitude for-"
"I had a shitty day at the agency, okay? Just-... lay nicely. Let me rest, please."

Four seconds pass, and the alpha picks up on it... that heavy scent of a neglected omega. An upset, neglected, heartbroken scent... it drowns over the alpha's exhausted, stressed scent.

"What, are you gonna say you're gonna act this way towards the babies too? I'll say it now. Get out of my life and don't enter theirs if you're going to give them attitude too." Izuku snapped in a hurt tone.
He got up, or tugged himself to his feet, and left the room, slamming the door harder than he'd meant to.
Eijiro's scent turned into pure anger... yet, pure heartbreak.

He'll never leave their lives. No matter how many times he's told to do so, he'll never abandon his omega and his pups.

Seeing Izuku alone in the kitchen was one of the signs that he and Eijiro had gotten into an argument.
