Eijiro was already a bit hesitant when Katsuki dragged him out of the crowd. That little, too nervous-sounding "We gotta talk" sounding too out-of-character for Katsuki and Eijiro could only imagine what was coming.
He remained calm, however... as much as his heart raced, he kept cool on the outside.
"What am I getting scolded at for now?" Eijiro joked, smirking and laughing as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.
Katsuki sighed quietly.
"S'Not scolding..." he mumbled, "I... just... feel like I have to tell you something. Instead of keeping it fuckin' trapped in my chest, or whatever..."
Eijiro swallows thickly. He already knows the answer to whatever Katsuki's about to spill... and he feels guilty already.
"I-..." Katsuki began, lowering his head and sighing heavily, "a-are you with someone-?!"
Eijiro feels himself be consumed by guilt.
"I... I'm not...-"
Katsuki remained still for a second, "I-... I'm asking 'cuz-...!"
He glances off to the side, before looking back down.
"Would you-... date...? Another guy...?"
Eijiro is staring at him gleaming eyes... they gleam hesitancy yet awe. "I would."
Katsuki fell silent again for a few seconds. His foot began to tap nervously on the ground.
"Is there a reason you're asking...?" Eijiro asked softly.
He nodded. Yet another pause...
"I l-...ike... you... Kirishima..." he confessed under his breath, "and... I-... I wanna be more than friends!" He claims, his head finally snapping up. "I-! I wanna be your b-..! Boyfriend!"
His heart cracks a bit at the sight of Eijiro's smile... the way his eyebrows are turned up, the way his eyes are gleaming with awe yet pity... how pitied yet sweet his smile looks...
"Dh-!? D-Don't-! Smile like that...!" his voice gets quieter by the second.
"I'm honestly... so... flattered, Bakugo...- someone like you... liking me, I-..." he exhales a flattered chuckle, "but... can I have some time...? To think of an answer...?-- I-... hope you underst--"
"I-! I understand-!" He nodded quickly, "th-... think about it good!"
Eijiro giggled quietly. "I will, Bakugo..."
He found it sweet, he really did. The only issue he finds is how conflicted his heart and mind are at the moment.
Katsuki's a great guy... truly, he's uniquely touched his heart...
But so has someone else.
And... it always hurts a bit to think about... he's convinced that he'll have to choose someone...

Eijiro finds himself needing more and more time...
And after the first week, Katsuki began to get a bit agitated.
The question begins subtly... but as they get more obvious and frequent, Eijiro begins to feel agitated as well... he begins to feel rushed, and... of course, it irritates him at some point.
