Third wheeling quickly became Neito's brand ever since Hitoshi got a boyfriend.
At first, it wasn't commented on... but as Hitoshi truly began to get serious with his relationship, he began to get a bit bothered...

And, sure, at the start everything was just for his entertainment. He liked crashing into other people's parties,-
But, he didn't expect to find Hitoshi's date to be a cool guy.

Something he's never expected to happen again, happens.
He finds himself to be compatible to him. And, he never thought it would happen again after realizing him and Hitoshi had more in common than he thought-
He got interested in it... the third wheeling increased, not out of mocking purposes, but out of sheer interest.
And, well, Hitoshi noticed. Of course, he knows Neito... he knows him well...

Neito isn't also too big of a fan of how Hitoshi treats his date sometimes.
He depends way too much on his mood, and uses it as an excuse a lot. And, Neito finds it unfair.
Denki, being the outgoing, extroverted guy that he is, is put down a lot by Hitoshi... and is always given the repetitive excuses of;

"Walk in my shoes, I've been working all day."
"I skipped sleep last night, my patience is short, give me a break."
"I'm pissed off, I failed/missed/messed up, insert-whatever-he-did-here, leave me alone."

He doesn't like how Denki is so okay with it.
And, he quickly realizes what he's feeling is.

He values Denki.
And he's not liking the way that he's being treated because he's certain someone like Denki shouldn't be given this type of "affection".
He questions what he sees in Hitoshi a lot... and, once again, he realizes why quite quickly.
It's jealousy. It's the one-upping...

"I know I can treat him better than Shinso."
"I'd make Kaminari smile bigger than Shinso does."

"I'd be a better boyfriend."

Neito was actually accepted into hanging out with the two back at Denki's dorm. Denki finds Neito to be a cool guy as well, after having gotten to know him a bit better. Behind the facet he puts up for the public, he's a funny guy... he's an attentive, caring guy...

He doesn't know it's just biased, however.
That guy is only for Denki... the caring, attentive guy is only for Denki...

Hitoshi didn't like it... having Neito crash their dates was annoying enough, now having him enter their private space was getting to his nerves.

Neito picked up immediately how Denki felt cuddly today. He tried to hug Hitoshi countless times today, to which only a few had he been hugged back by Hitoshi... the others were all pushed aside and rejected.
When Denki moved on from hugging to trying to snuggle against Hitoshi, Hitoshi snapped.

"Denki for the love of god, will you stop-"
"I'm cold, Hitoshi...-" he whined rather cutely.
"Then get a god damned blanket, I'm not your personal heater."

Neito hated that. He despised that.

"You are his boyfriend though, arent you?" He pitched in cleverly. "He wants attention, and you're being stuck up your own ass-"
"How do you sound- It's none of your business, last time I checked you don't have a say in how someone else treats their boyfriend."
