"Jia," he called her name without any emotion at all. "Do you know that the kind of person that I hate the most is someone who lies right in my face?"
Napalunok naman siya ng laway at mabilis na lumuhod dito.
"I would never dare, your majesty!" she cried.
Tumayo naman mula sa kinauupuan si Zhang Wei atsaka ito lumapit sa kanya. At naramdaman nalang niya ang pagtatayuan ng mga balahibo nang inilapit nito ang labi nito sa kaliwang tainga niya.
And in that soulless voice, he whispered in her ear.
"Are you sure about this?" he asked. "Are you sure that you won't have any regrets?"
