3rd Person's POV

Habang nasa may backfield sina Maddie, Laryne at Alexa ay nasa cafeteria naman si Pierce. Nakikipag-kwentuhan sa mga malalapit na kaibigan niya na sina Wilhelm, Andrew, Lea at Denisse.

Syempre kinuwento sakanila ni Pierce ang tungkol sa nangyari sakanila ni Alexa.

"Well, we've got to meet this girl." Sabi ni Denisse. "Wait - what was her name again?"

Lea snorted and rolled her eyes. "Alexa." Sabi ni Lea. Napatingin siya kay Pierce. "Pero that's new. You've opened up to someone other than us." Sabi pa nito sabay kain ng burger niya.

"Oo nga, Pierce." Sabi ni Andrew. "Ayaw na ayaw mong mag-kwento tungkol sa nakaraan at sa mga nangyari lalo na sa ibang tao. Kami lang ang lagi mong sinasabihan."

Pierce's eyes bore onto him. Seriously?

"So, selos na kayo niyan?" Sabi ni Pierce.

"Well, technically, we're not. We're just thrilled to meet this girl." Sabi ni Wilhelm.

Pierce leaned on his chair and took another breath. A deeper one this time. Kasalanan niya 'to eh. Sa kaka-kwento niya tungkol kay Alexa sa mga kaibigan niya, ito tuloy ang nangyari. It never occured to him that they would want to meet the most annoying girl he'd ever met.

It won't be necessary because he doesn't want anything to do with her in the first place.

Apparently, wala siyang choice dahil bukod sa magkaklase sila at seatmates rin ang dalawa.

Guess he should go back to his sleeping habits and not caring about anything else. Matulog nang matulog at..

But Alexa.. D-amn. May pakialam na nga ba siya ngayon sa dalaga?

Maybe yes.. But maybe he's just too kind and Alexa happened to be one of those people who needed help. Most certainly people like her if you ask him.

Pierce just can't stand seeing girls crying in front of him. Ayaw niya nang may umiiyak o nasasaktan - lalo na kung dahil sakanya.

He's not batman nor superman. Ganun lang talaga ang naging prinsipyo niya dahil lumaki siya na nakikitang sinasaktan ng ama niya ang kanyang ina.

He promised himself that when he grows up, he won't let girls cry because of him. That he won't hurt them. That he would try his best to keep a girl from getting hurt because he wasn't able to keep his own mom from pain.

His Mom died when he was 13 years old.

Of course his close friends knows that kaya nga alam na nila na kapag may gumalaw kina Denisse at Lea, siguradong lagot kay Pierce.
