*TAKES PLACE OVER MONTH OF DECEMBER*
"It looks great guys!" I complimented.
I was laying in the couch in my comfy pajamas eating cookies as I watched the kiddos decorate the Christmas tree. Kelly was assisting them but they were doing a pretty good job.
"Looks like we've got a new tradition," Kelly teased as he kissed me on the side of the head.
"I can't believe they're already big enough to be doing this. Time goes by too quick."
"Good thing we've got another little girl on the way to keep us young."
"Very true."
I made the kids some hot cocoa as they finished up the tree before they came and joined us on the sectional. We turned on some Christmas movies at they all cuddle up. Ember lately was very cuddly lately but Eli, he loved using my bump as a pillow.
"The tree looks great guys. I love it."
"Thanks Mama," Ash smiled as Kelly ruffled his hair.

As Christmas got closer, we had to get a babysitter so we could go Christmas shopping for the kids without them. Thankfully Matt and Sylvie volunteered. So we went to many stores and even the mall, getting all their gifts and stocking stuffers.
"This is the one thing we didn't think about. More kids means more money spent," Kelly sighed, making me chuckle.
"I didn't think about how sore my feet were gonna be from doing this pregnant," I stated which made him laugh.
"At least it's working to make strangers feel bad at letting us get around easier."
"True, very true."
By the time we got it all down, our car was pretty full. We decided instead of just getting gifts for the kids, we did our Christmas shopping for everyone but each other.
"You know, we still got time before we need to get back," I spoke with a little grin, "Wanna stop and look at the city tree in the park?"
"Sounds fun. Give us our area of Christmas romance."
"Yeah since ice skating is out of the question with this giant pump."
"Exactly."
We went and checked out the tree. It was actually a lot of fun. The lights were just beautiful and we got a couple to take pictures of us. Then we decided to head back home to the chaos.

Of course we took the kids too the Christmas Zoo exhibit per tradition with our usual group that goes. It was abnormally warm this December so luckily it wasn't freezing.
"Can't believe next year we'll get to add our little one to this tradition," Sylvie smiled, leaning into Matt a bit.
"I know, I can't wait."
"And we'll have a fourth one to wrangle," I chuckled as we pushed the boys in the stroller.
"I remember back when you were pregnant with the twins worrying about wrangling three kids. You'll be a pro with four," Matt teased.
"God I hope so. It'll be fun watching you guys do it for the first time though," Kelly chimed in.
"Oh I bet."

"Ember, this was a great idea," I complimented as we unloaded Kelly's gift at the Casey household.
