"What are you doing beautiful?" asked Kelly as he walked into the living room.
"Hey, sorry did I wake you?" I apologized from my spot on the floor next to the fake fireplace.
"I only woke up because my girl wasn't there for me to cuddle. Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just thinking."
"Yeah? About what?"
"Us and our growing family," I smiled, resting my hand on my bump, "I'm just worried I guess."
"Worried about what?"
"I mean, everything happened so fast with us. There's was the whole unknown baby daddy drama, then we were dating, had Ember, got engaged, got married, and a short amount of time together and then I got pregnant again," I rambled, "Don't get me wrong, I don't regret a single part of our journey, but I'm worried that now that we'll be a family of five that you and I aren't going to get to spend time together, couple wise. If you think about, since we got together there's always been a baby around."
"So you're worried we're going to lose our spark?" asked Kelly, trying to understand my rambling.
"I guess. I just wish we had just a little more us time," I stated before instantly feeling terribly selfish, "God that sounds horrible! I shouldn't be feeling this selfish. I'm a mother!"
"Babe, you're human. You are allowed to be selfish every once in a while. You bust your ass to take care of Ember, the house, and me honestly. Now you are growing our boys which just adds to the workload."
"I guess that's true."
"Absolutely. And as for us losing our spark? That'll never happen. You are the sexiest woman I have ever met and always will be. Being a mom actually makes you even sexier."
"Really?"
"Hell yeah. Watching how great you are with Ember and how you can easily calm her down. There's nothing sexier than a mom who loves her kid," he smiled, making me chuckle a bit, "My point is, no matter how many kids we have, we're always going to have us. And I think I have an idea of how to make you feel better."
"Oh yeah? What's that?"
"What if we took a little babymoon-slash-one year anniversary vacation. Just the two of us."
"That sounds amazing. I have the best husband ever," I grinned, grabbing Kelly's face and pulling him in for a kiss, "Thank you for tolerating my crazy moods. And for always knowing what to say."
"Oh please."
"Hey, I'm serious. You've always been there for me. In the middle of my chaos, there was you. We've gone through so much together and now we've come out the other side. I could not have done it without you...and I don't ever want to."
"Well you won't ever have to because I'm not going anywhere. I'm lucky enough to have found someone that I want to annoy for the rest of my life."
I laughed and gave him another kiss. A sweet silence fell over us as I readjusted so my back was against his chest. His hands wrapped around me to cradle my huge baby bump.
"I can't believe our little boys are going to be here in a little under three months," Kelly smiled, gently rubbing circles on my belly.
"Me neither. But don't get me wrong, I'm ready for these two to get out. I just want to sleep without being kicked for one night."
"At least they've stopped kicking for now."
"That's because they love when their daddy is touching them and when their mommy's talking."
"Well then I guess you'll just have to talk yourself to sleep while I rub your belly."
"I can live with that," I chuckled before leaning back to give Kelly one last kiss, "I love you."
"I love you too."

"I need you to sign these papers," I told Matt as I entered his office with important papers in tow.
"Yeah, of course," he grinned, taking them and beginning to sign them.
"So how's the new apartment treating you?"
"Good! It's kind of nice to have my own space again."
"That's good!"
"Here you go."
"Thanks!"
After bringing the paperwork back to my desk and filing it, I headed to the kitchen for a snack. As I entered the room, I noticed lists and picture ideas scattered on the small circle table along with Sylvie, Stella, and Foster.
"Hey guys, what are you doing?" I asked, pouring myself a cup of decaf coffee.
"Planning your baby shower for when you get back from your babymoon," Stella informed me very matter of factly.
"Awe. You guys don't have to do that!"
"Yeah but we want to," commented Foster.
"Besides you know how I love party planning," Sylvie said with a huge grin.
"That I do," I chuckled, pulling a chair up to their table.
"So where are you and the hubby going anyway?"
"Kelly booked us a five day vacation at an adults only resort in Florida," I stated excitedly, "completed with a special pregnancy massage and a trip to the beach."
"That sounds super relaxing and romantic."
"I'm hoping it will be. It'll be so nice for us to celebrate our anniversary early and get some time alone together before we're officially parents of three."
"Speaking of kids, who's watching Ember while you're gone?"
"Natalie and Will offered to take her. It's easy for me to be comfortable leaving her with Nat because she's a doctor and with all Em's heart stuff," I rambled, getting emotional due to the stupid pregnancy hormones, "God I can't wait to not be a pregnant hot mess."
"You're not a pregnant mess, you're a pregnant spicy disaster," commented Stella, making me laugh.
"She's something alright," Kelly joked as he entered the room.
"Watch it Severide or you'll be sleeping on the couch."
"Yes ma'am!"
I rolled my eyes as he winked at me. He walked over to me with a bag of chips in his hands which I started eating. He shot me a look to which I just shrugged.
"Momma's eating for three. Deal with it. This is what you get for knocking me up with twin boys."
"Hey, that was a team effort!"
"You guys are the cutest couple ever," Sylvie gushed.
"We try," I smiled, pecking Kelly on the lips.
"Gotta love the Severide's."
