"Alright. You guys ready to see your little one?" asked Natalie.

"Yep."

Natalie began the ultrasound as I laid there on the table. Kelly held my hand, gently caressing it. We both stared at the screen and waited for results.

"So it looks like you're about 10 weeks along," began Natalie.

"That makes sense as to way you've felt off lately," stated Kelly.

"And why I'm bloated. I just thought it was from stress eating," I chuckled.

"Nope. You've actually got two babies brewing in here," smiled Natalie.

"W-what?"

"Congratulations. It's twins!"

I looked at Kelly, pupils dilated. He looked as surprised as me. We're the parents of three kids. Damn.

"Holy shit," were the first words out of Kelly's mouth.

"Well both look healthy and your due date is May 24th," Natalie informed us, "Would you like some photos to take with you today?"

"Yes please. Thank you," I replied.

Once Kelly and I got back in the car, we sat there in silence. I honestly couldn't believe it was twins. I thought dealing with a heart baby was an adventure, but dealing with a heart toddler and twins was going to be a whole other ball game.

"We're going to be outnumbered," Kelly thought aloud.

"Hey, we'll figure this out, together. We're Severide's. Remember?"

"We're Severide's."

Two weeks later we were ready to tell the gang. First we headed to Boden's office to inform him.

"Hey chief. You got a minute?" asked Kelly.

"Yeah, what's can I help you with?" he replied, sitting at his desk.

We stepped into the office and shut the door before I spoke, "Im pregnant."

"With twins," added Kelly.

"Oh my gosh! Congratulations you two!" he exclaimed, hugging us both.

"Thanks Chief," smiled Kelly.

"Obviously you know you can't keep working on truck."

"Foster is temporarily transferring closer to home for the next few months, so I can fill her spot on 61 until her return."

"Perfect. I'll have that paperwork pushed through."

"Thanks chief. Mind if you gather everyone up to share the news?"

"Be my guest."

We gathered everyone into the kitchen area with Chief's help. Kelly and I stood at the front of the room with grins plastered on our faces.

"So Corinthia and I got some news to share with you all," Kelly began, turning to me.

"I'm pregnant!" I exclaimed, letting everyone cheer before I added, "With twins."

"Twins?!" asked a wife eyed Sylvie.

"Are you guys trying to be the next Hermann family with all these kids?" joked Kidd.

"Hey!" Hermann cried as we all laughed, "Congratulations you two."

"Thanks Hermann."

Two weeks later it was time for Halloween. Of course there was snow in Chicago, but luckily it was already melting away. I was so grateful I had chosen a warm costume for Ember. I was able to find a loose Rapunzel dress that didn't show off my bump, and I got Kelly a Flynn Rider costume. Ember was just as the adorable green iguana. We were going trick or treating with the Hermann clan and the Boden family along with Natalie, Will, and Owen. Owen was dressed as an Army ranger like his dad used to be. Natalie and Will showed up in their scrubs which I teased them for.
