"I'm so tired," I fake cried as I made my way to the pot of coffee, "And now I have to cook for like a dozen people."

"I told you I could take a shift last night."

"I know, but to be fair two of the times was to feed one then the other. Plus you took care of Ember when she had that nightmare. Besides most of my time was spent in the rocking chair alternating between teething rings and the boys chewing on my finger."

"I don't remember it being this bad with Ember."

"Maybe it's because there's double the teeth cutting," I teased, handing him a mug off coffee, "Right now I'm just taking in the miracle that all three of them are still asleep."

"It's a Thanksgiving miracle."

"And I'm enjoying the view in my kitchen."

With a sexy grin I lightly pulled on Kelly's chain necklace, taking full advantage of his shirtlessness. I pressed my lips to his as we simultaneously set our coffee's down. My free hand slipped behind his neck as has arms wrapped around my midsection. Our innocent kitchen kiss began to heat up into a complete make out session. Just then I heard a pitter patter of little steps.

"Eww!" cooed a little voice.

Immediately I pulled back to see Ember standing there, hands over her eyes. That girl could be so dramatic sometimes.

"Hey munchkin!" I exclaimed, scooping Ember into my arms and making her giggle, "How did you get out of your crib?"

"I climb!" she stated matter of factly, "Like a fi-fighter."

"Oh yeah? You're a little firefighter now huh?" Kelly tickled her before she leaned into his arms, allowing him to hold her.

"I think it might be time to get someone a big girl bed," I smiled, sipping my coffee before I heard the boys crying through the monitor, "I got them."

"Alright. I'll get the little jail break breakfast."

"Thank you."

I headed to the boys room to see them both standing up in their cribs, holding onto the bars to keep themselves up.

"Mama!" Eli cooed sweetly.

"Hey baby boy."

I scooped him up and changed his diaper before sitting him on the floor. Then I grabbed Asher and changed him. Before I knew it, I had a boy in each arm and was heading towards the kitchen.

"Dada!" cried Asher as we entered the room.

"Hey little man!" Kelly grinned pecking each boy on the cheek.

"Would you mind helping me set them up to tandem feed? I've got a lot to do today and don't want to have to do it one at a time."

"Yeah no problem."

He helped me get settled on the couch before heading back into the kitchen. I decided to take this opportunity to rest my eyes. About halfway through I felt a sharp pain.

"Ow!" I cried out, causing Kelly to whip around.

"What? You okay?"

"Yeah. Eli's trying to use my nipple as a teething ring."

"Eli, buddy, you gotta be nice to mommy's nipple. You two aren't the only one who likes them."

I shot him a look from across the room to which he just smirked, acting innocently. This man. I rolled my eyes at him before he turned his attention back to the stove.

"Kelly! Can you please make sure the living room is picked up from the toys!" I yelled from the kitchen.

Eli was being clingy again, so I had him in the chest carrier while I was cooking. Kelly had put Asher in the play pen, and I had propped Ember in front of the tv to watch a movie. Thing a were surprisingly running semi-smoothly.

"On it!" he replied back.

Just then Ember walked in, "Mama, my friends coming?"

"Yeah. Terrence is coming to play. And Auntie Sylvie and Auntie Stella."

"Yay!"

With that she was off. A few minutes later the doorbell rang. I heard the familiar voices of Matt and Sylvie as they walked in.

"Hey girl!" greeted Sylvie as she entered the kitchen.

"Hey! How are you?"

"Good. Everything smells great. Is there something I can help you with?"

"No I'm managing," I chuckled, "But I know a little girl in the living room who is dying to see you."

"Uncle Matt!"

I turned around to see Matt walk over with Ember is his arms, Kelly behind him with Asher.

"Corin, everything smells amazing," Matt complimented.

"Thanks! I'm really glad you two could make it."

"Yeah my parents decided to travel this year, so we figured we'd see our other family," Sylvie grinned.

"Babe, is Ash's teething ring in the freezer?" Kelly asked as the little boy started to cry.

"Yeah the blue one on the bottom right side."

"Boys teething?"

"Yep! And for the life of me I can't find baby Orgel anywhere, so it's been fun. Especially when it's multiplied by two."

The doorbell went off again and I looked at Kelly pleadingly. Which didn't go unnoticed by Matt and Sylvie.

"Emmy, why don't we get the door?"

"Yeah!"

"Thanks Matt."

Slowly everyone began to arrive. Stella, Cruz and Chloe, Halstead, Upton, and the Boden family all showed up. I heard Ember laughing as she played with Terrence which made me smile. He was only two or three years older than her, so they played pretty well.

"Hey Corin. I brought my signature pie," Donna smiled as she set it on the island.

"Thank you so much! I appreciate it."

"Of course. I also brought something else. I think Wallace has it," she paused before calling, "Wallace!"

In walked the chief, who I greeted with a wave. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a little tube. With an eyebrow raised I grabbed it to examine.

"A little birdie told me you were desperate for some baby Orgel. And I happen to know a gas station that always carries it. So Wallace and I stopped on the way."

"Thank you," I smiled, carefully hugging Boden then Donna, "You are honestly my life saver."

"It was no problem really."

"Babe? Table is set," Kelly smiled, walking in and pecking me on the cheek, "Why don't I get little Eli set up in his high chair and then help bring the food out to the table."

"You're my hero Kelly Severide."

With another kiss he took our little boy and walked out. Boden grabbed the turkey, so I didn't have to carry it. Kelly got everyone seated while Matt helped me bring the food out to the table. Once we were all gathered, a stayed standing with my wine glass.

"I just wanted to say a few things before we dig in," I smiled, "I'm incredibly thankful to have you all here with us and our little family. I'm grateful for all the help everyone's giving us over the years and the support. And I'd like to especially thank my husband for being there for my through all the crazy lately. I love you all so much. So cheers!"

"Cheers!"

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!
