Everything happened so fast, one moment I was at home enjoying my early maternity leave, the next I was curled up in a hospital waiting room while doctor's trying to keep me from going into early labor. My world turned dark in the blink of an eye and I was lost...

3rd POV
"Severide! Get out of there!" cried Boden as he waiting outside the burning building.
Kelly was trapped. The flames were beginning to come through the bedroom door and there was no time to get a ladder to the window. As Boden's voice rang through his radio, he realized he only had one option. Jump. Everyone watched as Kelly fell to the ground, flames blowing out of the window. As soon as he landed, Brett and Foster rushed over to him. Engine began to put out the flames while Casey and a few others ran over to help the girls. They snapped a collar on him before loading him into the ambulance.
"Casey!" Boden called, "Why don't you go with them? I got 81."
"Thanks chief."
Casey jumped into the ambo with Sylvie before they took out. She worked on Severide while Matt pulled out his phone and called Corin.
"Corinthia Severide."
"Corin? It's Matt."
"Hey Matt! What's up?"
"Are you sitting down?"
"Yeah. Ember and I are watching Beauty and the Beast. Why?"
"Don't panic. But Kelly is on his way to Med. He was trapped inside a building and jumped from the second story window."
"Oh my god! Is he okay?"
"He's unconcious and we are unsure of the seriousness of his injuries at the moment."
"God uh okay. I-I'm leaving now. I'll meet you guys at Med."
"Okay. Just remember to try and stay calm Corin. We've got him."
"Okay. Okay."
1st Pov
I made it to Med minutes after the ambulance. 81 had arrived only a minutes or two before I did apparently. I walked into the waiting room with Ember tight in my arms. I knew I had to look like a hot mess as my head spun around in somewhat of a panic. There I stood in my maternity yoga pants, almost 9 months pregnant, with a diaper bag thrown over my shoulder, hair plastered against my sweaty forehead, and a 16 month old in my arms. I was a disaster. That's when I spotted them. Matt carefully took Ember from my arms and handed her off to someone else. I was too out of focus to notice who. He wrapped his arms around me and tried to calm me down.
"How is it? Where is he? Is he-?"
"Corin, I need you to take a deep breath," Matt advised, "Will just took him back to examine him. His breathing is normal, but they're checking for injuries. All we can do is wait. Okay?"
"Okay. Okay. But don't you guys have to get back to the station?"
"We do. But I'm leaving you with Stella and Jay, he's got Ember."
So that's who he handed her off to. I looked over to see Jay sitting on the floor, playing with Ember. She seemed so happy...she had no idea her mom was barely keeping it together. I nodded at Matt and gave him another hug before the team moved out. I sat down next to Stella with Jay on the ground to my left. A few minutes into the gruesome waiting period, Natalie came into the waiting room with her blood pressure cuff.
"Hey Corin. You mind if I take your blood pressure?"
"No, go ahead. But uh could you tell me why?" I asked as she began to place the cuff on my arm.
