"I can't believe our baby girl is two! She's honestly growing up way to fast."

"I know. My baby girl is growing up so fast," Kelly sighed.

It was another crazy day in the Severide household. We decided to keep it a tradition and take the kids to the Christmas Eve zoo lights event. Of course Kelly got Matt and Sylvie to agree to go with. Donna and Boden decided to bring Terrence this year, and Natalie was coming with Owen. So now I was trying to get all three kids bundled up and into the car. After getting the suburban all loaded up, we headed out. As soon as we got there, we met up with everyone. Of course they all seemed so in order and we were a hot mess. Asher was starting to get fussy and Kelly was changing Eli in the backseat.

"Here let me," Matt smiled, stepping forward and pulling the double stroller out of the back for me before opening it up.

"Thank you. Sorry we're running behind," I apologized, feeling bad as I secured Asher into the back stroller.

"No worries honestly," Donna spoke softly, "I couldn't imagine being outnumbered like you two are."

"And I've got this cutie!" Sylvie announced, walking around the car and appearing with Ember in her arms.

"Thank you!" I smiled, taking my little girl from her.

"Alright. We are all clean," Kelly sighed before buckling Eli into the front part of the stroller and then chucking the diaper bag in the under carrier along with our snack bag.

Since we only had to double stroller, we decided Ember could walk when she wanted or otherwise we'd carry her. Now that she's two, she wants to be able to see things, so I'd be picking her up all the time anyway.

"Everyone ready?" Boden asked as Owen and Ember talked to each other.

"Les go!" cheered Ember, making us all laugh.

We entered through the gates, paying and everything before finally getting to the fun. Of course immediately the older kids (and I) wanted hot chocolate, so we stopped at the first stand.

"Mommy's gonna get a big one and we can share, okay Emmy?" I questioned.

"Okay!"

Natalie ordered a mini one for Owen and Donna decided to do the same for Terrance, since both kids were older. The adults all got themselves either a coffee or a hot chocolate before we were on the move again.

"So, how are things with you and Matt?" I asked Sylvie as we walked down a path.

"I mean we're only a month in, but good now that we've worked out the whole Gabby awkwardness issue, we're good," Sylvie smiled, looking over at Matt who was carrying Owen for Natalie.

"You two are cute together. And I can tell you make Matt happier lately."

"Thanks. Hopefully one day we can end up like you guys."

"Awe. Be careful, we're a hot mess," I chuckled.

"Mama look!" Ember jerked, pointing to the polar bears.

"What is that Em?"

"Cold bear!"

I laughed along with Kelly before looking back at her, "It's a polar bear. The bear that lives in cold."

"I know Mama."

"Okay little miss sassy pants."

"That's all you babe!" Kelly replied from a few feet away so that I could only glare it him.

"Just you wait until they're all older Severide," Donna spoke, "You'll be screwed."

"Two mini teen Kelly's? That is a world I'd be scared to see," Matt commented.

"If any of this kids are like their parents, all three are gonna be pains in the ass," Boden added, cracking everyone up.

"The only things saving their behinds is that they are adorable," I stated before single handedly ticking Ember in my arms.

"Ahhh! Mama!" she giggled as I stopped.

"You two do make some pretty cute kids," Sylvie complimented.

"Are you guys planning to have any more?" questioned a curious Natalie.

"No." immediately answered Kelly, making us laugh.

"Not anytime soon. We've gone back and forth on maybe adding a fourth in a few years. Either when Ember's getting into preschool or kindergarten," I responded.

"I am okay with one more," Kelly began, "but we aren't turning this bunch into the Hermann clan."

"I'm with you there. My vagina can't handle that."

"Jesus," Matt muttered under his breath as Sylvie chuckled.

"Bet you didn't think you'd hear that on Christmas Eve."

"No, I definitely didn't."

The next morning I was awoken by Ember climbing all over me and jumping, "Mama! Daddy! Santa came! Santa came!"

"Come here you little monster," Kelly chuckled as he pulled Ember to him, making her giggle.

"Daddy presents!"

"I know. Mama's gotta get brothers and then we can go open presents. Okay?"

"Okay."

I got up and headed down the hall to the boys room while Kelly took Em to the living room. Both boys were up and babbling of course, so I changed them first. Then I headed to join my other loves. Ember was able to recognize the big letter E on all her gifts. Kelly began dividing them up by kid to help make it easier. I held Eli, he took Asher, and Ember sat right in front of us. She was pretty good at unwrapping on her own, so we figured we'd "help" the boys.

The twins ended up getting a lot of baby toys and outfits. I made sure to put them in matching adorable first Christmas outfits to celebrate the special day. Ember got a new baby doll, some racecars, a play tent, toys for house (she loves playing it with her brothers), and we saved the best for last, a firetruck power wheel.

"Like mommy and daddy!" she cheered and clapped when we revealed it to you.

"Yeah! What is this?" asked Kelly as he shifted Ash in his lap.

"Firetruck!"

"Yeah! Good job sweetie!" I smiled, "You like it?"

"Love it!" she replied before taking a turn giving us both a crushing hug, "T-hanks!"

"Merry Christmas princess!"

"Merry C-hissmas daddy!"

"Merry C-hissmas daddy!"
