Katniss’s POV:

Day Before the Wedding

Today is the day before the wedding and I’m going to head over to Effie’s house with the girls since I can’t see Peeta and he can’t see me before the wedding.

Just as I’m about to leave I walk up to Peeta and wraps my arms around his neck.

“I’m going to miss you so much,” I say.

“I’m going to miss you too.”

I kiss him one last time until the wedding.

I turn back to face him and say.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” and I wink at him.

He smiles at me as I walk out the door into Effie’s house.

“Hey guys!”

“There’s our beautiful bride!” says Effie while hugging me.

“Aw thank you! I can’t believe I’m getting married tomorrow!”

“We can’t believe it either!” says Annie.

I see little Finnick on the couch clapping his hands.

“Hey Finnie! I say and pick him up.

“Yeah sorry I had to bring him.” said Annie

“No it’s fine he’s adorable!” I say as he giggles.

“Let’s do something!” says Johanna.

“Like what?”

“Maybe watch a movie?” says Johanna.

“Okay!” we all say.

All of us sit down on Effie’s couch and watch a movie.

As I’m watching the movie, I bounce Finnick up and down on my lap.

We eat a bunch of food and watch until we get tired.

“Hey guys, I think I’m going to go to bed now. I don’t want to be tired for the wedding tomorrow.” I say as I hand Finnick to Annie.

“Okay, I have an extra bedroom upstairs you can use,” says Effie.

“Okay thanks!”

I go upstairs and lay down in bed thinking about the wedding tomorrow.
