Chapter 28

Peeta's POV:

After we let go I ask, "what was that for?"

"Because I love you and what you said about being with me was sweet."

"Well I do love being with you."

"Awww."

She lays her head on my shoulder as we stare up at the sky on the ferris wheel.

Once the ride is over, we hop off and we go to the game with the mallet and the scale.

I grab the mallet and slam it down on the scale and it reaches the top. The guy hands me a large teddy bear and I hand it to Katniss.

"For you."

"Thank you!"

I kiss her and then we sit down for lunch.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I'll have a hamburger."

"Ok I'll go get one for you."

We smile at each other and then I go get the food.

When I get back I give it to her and we eat.

After we finish eating, we walk around the carnival while Katniss holds her teddy bear.

"Today was amazing!" says Katniss.

"Who said it was over?"

"What?"

"Do you want to go shopping?"

"Sure!"

We leave the carnival and go to a store.

Katniss holds up a bathing suit. 

"How about this one?"

"I would love to see you in that!"

Katniss laughs and says, "ok Romeo let's go and buy this." 

I peck her lips and we buy the swimsuit.
