I woke up feeling relaxed and calm. My system definitely needed the rest my boss ordered.
Yes he literally ordered me to get back to my flat and sleep.
I checked the time from my phone and winced when I realized I'd slept for six hours straight.
Damn.
I had a quick wash up,wore a green short gown, sleeveless, holding my hair in the usual bun.
I walked to my small kitchen and grabbed a bowl, cereal pack, and milk, then walked back to the sitting room.
Right before my bum rested on the rug,I heard a knock, and my heart jumped and leaped in a nanosecond.
I moved my small body to the door and screwed the knob.

"Sarah." Simon's voice called as I opened the door.
     "Hi,evening Simon." I answered.

"Are you okay?" He asked, and I wondered wether he was the one asking or his boss, our boss. My friend,or whatever the birthday dinner he took me meant for us.

"I'm alright. Had enough rest." I said.

"Good. I was ordered to take you for some paperworks at the embassy." He said.

Whatever any of those technical terms meant,I only knew it was concerning the trip to Spain, and even without him telling me who gave him the order,I knew it was most decidedly my arrogant rich boy.
Authoritative arrogant rich boy.

My tummy churned and growled with excitement at the thought.
I nodded my acknowledgement. "Please give me ten minutes,I'll catch up with you at the mansion."
Simon gave a little bow and left.

I got back to the work of making myself a cereal bowl,I did just that and took it all in,and immediately I was done, the craving for strawberries with chocolate dips kicked in with full force.
The tingling pain around my abdomen was a poignant reminder of what was to come, the cause of the cravings and edgy moods,my period was not there to joke.
I ignored the endless list of cravings my taste buds were emphasizing.
Picking up my phone and throwing it in my satchel, the evening breeze fanned my face as I walked to the Mansion.

When I reached the foyer,I saw Simon and he led me to the garage, and off we were.
On our way to the embassy,I was tempted to ask Simon so many questions, like where Estaban's parents and relatives were, like where he acquired all his wealth and power from, like where he was at the moment.
So many questions,I let them slide.

After so many formalities and paperworks,we were off to the mansion in an awkward silence with Simon.
I was seated on the front seat of the white CLK,Simon behind the wheel, looked as serious as always, impenetrable.
I glanced at his profile, and swallowed. Then back at the street, almost backing him.

"He cares about you,Sarah girl." I was startled at the unexpected statement.
I squeezed my arms nervously and glanced blankly at Simon.

"Why do you think so?" I asked.

"I dont think so,I know so,because I know Es well enough." He didn't look at me the whole time, until at the mention of Estaban's name, offering me a fond smile.

He knew him well enough? How well? What was about Es? My mind was flooded with unanswered questions.

"But----" I started, but was cut short by the sound of the ring coming from Simon's phone.

"Es." He said, casually. And that made me ponder about his relationship with Estaban for a minute, they seemed too close,as Estaban did with Cathy.
'Does he have family?' I questioned myself,in my mind.

"We going back to the Empire-----yes----all done---now?---alright."
I stared at Simon's face for a clue of what the conversation was about, but he was not giving it away.
I relaxed back in my seat and watched him handle the machine.
