I was in high spirits as I walked the not so familiar streets of the city.

I decided I was going to check out modeling agencies, coffee shops, libraries, and stores for Job Vacancies.

I walked for over forty minutes,it was Ten minutes past twelve when I spotted a modeling agency just by the corner of Twenty-first street. I walked through the door.

It looked small to me,but a lady must start from somewhere right? Right!
There was no one at the reception desk in the lobby.

"Hello." I called out.
"Anybody here." I walked in odd strides, mindful of my steps. The place sure looked creepy for a modeling agency.

"Hello?" I said,louder.

Just then, a man emerged from a door from the inside.

"Can I help you?" He questioned.

"Sorry... I....I was wondering if you had any job vacancies?" I said.

He scanned my body from head to toe, with absolute hostility,I started to fidget on my stand, clinging my legs together as I fondled nervously with my fingers.

Seconds and maybe minutes had passed by and He was still scanning me over, and I stood awkwardly facing him while he sized me up.

"No. We are not hiring." He muttered.

I felt my face reddened in disappointment. "Oh. Thanks." I said and walked out quickly.

'That place looked creepy anyway.'  I tried to console myself.

I continued walking. Soaring through the streets while I watched people engaged in different activities.

I passed a building with high-rising french architecture, the windows were floor to ceiling. The color of the building was a bleak combination of milk and coffee brown. It looked beautiful to me. I wondered it if were a house, but it looked too 'modern' to be a house, besides,it was in the middle of the town.

As I walked around outside of the building,I craned my head and followed the line of the building all the way up to the meagre ribbon of the sky.

My eyes landed right on the huge billboard that read;
"Alcaraz Empire"

I gasped for air. There was a picture of an extremely good looking young man, strikingly handsome, with black unruly hair, grey eyes, and a dangerous smile.

He wore a brilliantly tailored black suit, his hand across his chest as if he was adjusting his other side curler, and the other hand dipped carelessly in his pocket, revealing an obviously expensive wristwatch.

I swallowed hard and my heartbeat quickened.

'How can anyone be this ungodly handsome? Is that even fair?'

From all indications He was a successful person. A model maybe,or a popular soap opera actor.

I loved seeing successful people. They inspired me.

The need to be successful came back rushing through me,I reminded myself that I needed to start making a living, and get an apartment,or a room, just start somewhere and get off Jake's neck,He'd done enough already.

'On that thought,I'd check this place out,and see what they do.'

I walked back around the building looking for the entrance, and at last,I found it.

The building was very impressive, the gleaming beautiful walls swallowed me as I entered through the thick zinc framed revolving doors.

The marble floors were beautifully laid,I was in awe of the building.
