Fifty-nine

After a few weeks, finally, Dylan's family are set to arrive and Krislene can't wait to meet all of them. Of course, she cooked a lot of food with the help of her beloved King and she was so amazed upon remembering that they almost have the same favorite kinds of foods, especially Dinuguan, which is their all-time favorite ever since they're kids. That's the reason why Dinuguan became her specialty among all. At kung sino rin ang nagturo magluto nito sa kanya? It's none other than, Tiffany Love—Vaughn's cousin—during her stay in Barcelona. But of course, pinag-aralan nya ito ulit kung paano ito lutuin as Dylan's specialty.

All is set for their arrival so Krislene took her time relaxing on the bathtub, with eyes closed, while her head is leaning on the bathub wall. She's humming her favorite song ever since she was a child when suddenly, she heard the bathroom door opened.

She knew it was Dylan who just entered inside the bathroom so she didn't bother opening her eyes and just continue humming. But moments later, she heard him calling her name.

"Krislene Raye."

As soon as she opened her eyes, a smile curved on her lips as she came face to face with her own ocean. Dylan's arm is placed on the bathtub wall while his chin is resting on his arm.

"Yes Dylan ko?"

Pinagkatitigan sya ni Dylan habang may matamis na ngiti sa labi bago ito magsalita muli, "You're so beautiful."

Krislene chuckled, "I know. So why are you here?"

"I want to see you. I'm missing you already. I was actually wondering what's taking you so long in taking a bath. But now I know. You're relaxing while humming our theme song. And I want to just stare at you like this."

Krislene looked at Dylan with amusement, "Our theme song?"

"Yep! Ever since we're still kids, it became my favorite song and whenever I hear it, my childhood memories with you comes back."

"Pero diba si Ate K ang akala mong childhood sweetheart mo?"

He smiled, "There's that but when I hear that song before, the 'Raye' from my childhood always appears on my mind. Not Rae, your Sister. And now I know the reason why. It's because she's not my childhood sweetheart. But you know, whenever I get a chance to hear that song, not knowing that it was you, my childhood sweetheart, I always remember you. Mostly, on how I fell inlove with you Lene. So... is it okay if that's our theme song?"

At dahil sobrang natutuwa si Krislene sa kanyang nobyo, agad nya itong hinalikan ng mariin sa labi na agad namang tinugon ni Dylan.

And when she pulled away, she smiled sweetly at him before she spoke, "You know what Dylan, I really love it when you're like this. Ngayon kasi parang sa ibang couple lalo na sa generation natin ngayon, parang wala na ngang theme song-theme song eh. And I'm happy that you're still sweet as ever. You're a man full of surprises and you don't follow the trend nowadays. You strive to keep what you believe then and now and with that, I'm really lucky and blessed to have you in my life. So of course! That's our theme song Dylan ko."

Mahinang natawa si Dylan bago sya magsalita muli. "Kahit ang dami ng sinabi ng Reyna ko, mahal na mahal kita."

Krislene pouted, "Nag-explain pa ako syempre. Panira ka ng moment eh."

Then Dylan dropped soft kisses on her lips, "I'm just kidding my Queen."

"I know Dylan ko. At pasalamat ka mahal na mahal din kita."

"UADLOMYL."

Krislene laughed upon remembering what Dylan messaged her before she came back from Cebu. "You are the love of my life."
