Sixty-six

Dylan and Krislene, together with their families and friends are on their way going to Boracay, the place where Vincien and Kristene's wedding will be held. Ito ang lugar na sobrang special sa kapatid ni Krislene dahil doon nagsimula kung saan nagka-aminan ang dalawa sa haba ng panahon na itinago nila ang nararamdaman para sa isa't-isa.

And mostly, Krislene is excited and we all know why. Pag usapang dagat, sya ang nangunguna talaga. Ito ang happy place nya eh.

As usual kumpleto silang magkakaibigan at kasama na rin ang pamilya nya at ni Vincien. Who else would be the pilot? That's her badass best friend, Denver Kingsley. Though babalik pa ito muli ng Manila para sunduin sila Kristene at Vincien kinabukasan. All in all, the plane is fully-packed with their loved ones.

Everyone is busy chatting when her gaze settled on Tiffany who's sitting alone inside the plane. Her eyes sought for Alexander and there he is, happily chatting with their friends. Napatingin tuloy sya muli kay Tiffany na bakas ang kalungkutan sa mukha. Kaya't kinuha nya ang atensyon ni Dylan na nakaupo sa tabi nya.

"Mahal ko."

"Hmm?"

"Tatabihan ko lang si Ate Love. Look at her, she's alone."

At napatingin naman si Dylan kay Tiffany bago ito magsalita. "She looks sad."

"I noticed."

Then Dylan turned to her and smiled, "Go and make her happy Mahal ko."

She grinned, "Leave it to me. Baka kasi masuntok ko si Alexander kung sya ang nagpapalungkot kay Ate Love."

"Leave him to me my Queen. Ako ang gagawa para sayo."

At doon sya napatawa at binigyan nya ng mariin na halik si Dylan bago sya lumapit at tumabi kay Tiffany.

"Hey Ate Love."

Tiffany immediately turned to her and her face instantly lit up, "Hey Krislene!"

"You seemed sad. Is it because of Alexander?"

At kung paano agad na nagliwanag ang mukha nito, ganoon naman agad napalitan ng pagkasimangot ito. "He doesn't trust me."

"Huh?"

Tiffany sighed, "Wala pa rin syang tiwala sa akin. Para syang nanlalamig sa akin nitong mga nakakaraan. It feels like we're strangers living together on one roof. I'm slowly opening up myself to him but he's not opening up to me. Tapos hayan, hindi ako pinapansin."

Doon sya muling napatitig kay Alexander na masayang nakikipag-gaguhan sa mga kaibigan. Honestly, she understands how Alexander's mind works. Hindi kasi ito ganoon kadali magbigay ng tiwala. That's the kind of person he is. He's discreet. He doesn't brag about his status in life and he wanted to live a normal and ordinary life. And then here comes Tiffany who loves Alexander just the way he is.

Of course, she also understand that Tiffany is having a hard time. Hindi naman parating si Tiffany ang dapat gumawa ng effort. Alexander too. That's how love works, not Tiffany's second name, but love is a give and take relationship.

"Let him do what he wants Ate Love."

"Huh?"

"Hayaan mo syang magpakasaya tulad ngayon. Hindi naman sya hahayaan ng mga kaibigan natin na magpakagago eh. For sure there will be someone who'll be his eye opener."

"Anong gagawin ko?"

Tumingin syang muli kay Tiffany habang may ngiti sa labi. "Just be a badass wedding coordinator Ate Love. I assure you, Alexander will be the one come running to you."

Tiffany pouted, "Are you sure? Alam mo namang patay na patay ako sa Alexander na 'yan. Kahit gago 'yan... mahal ko 'yan."

She chuckled, "I'm sure Ate Love. Just wait and see. Trust me. That man will be possessive of you. Lalo pa may amber eyes ka. Nangunguna yan sa listahan ng ideal woman ni Alexander. Tapos innocent looking ka dati. Pag nalaman nya na ikaw pala yung tinulungan nya sigurado ako hindi ka na papakawalan nyan."
